As much as I want to bait, I know there's a lot of people that are devastated. Although they did choke, I really don't think they would've gone far with their current map pool in Santiago. They only had like 4 decent maps and the other 3 they were pretty bad, wasn't gonna be a good sign coming into Santiago.(even in a world where they beat furia on friday and be 1st seed) With MIBR having 2 month break, and with the alleged map pool changes being -Abyss - Corrode +Fracture +Lotus, MIBR gets 1 of their "alright" maps and 1 horrendous map for Lotus (they were pretty good on this map I'd say), and Fracture which was their original perma-ban which is unfortunate, but they have a whole 2 months to try getting their Pearl as good as possible. And if they want to continue perma-banning Fracture then that'll be fine.
I think it's better this way since it'll be a reality check for them and they'll dominate regionally. I remember FNC bombing out of kickoff last year, then they became the best EMEA team alongside Heretics for stage 1. I want to say that Aspas being sick was definitely a reason why, but with the 2 month break that makes this much better. They have so much time to fix their map pool & strats + compositions.
Trust the process. MIBR has it. It's tough but I know MIBR will be sooo good by stage 1. Thank you all and best of luck to MIBR fans :3
