imo, if the team has good strats and the igl has at least radiant mechanics. good teams probably practice enough that everyone is on the same page and calling isn't that important; comms take priority. also strats should be made by coaching staff with the entire team helping

That’s why you have coaching staff. But also, mechanical skill isn’t really something you study. there is no sacrifice. evidence: many cracked t1 pros don’t play ranked or aim train all day
