Cryo right now only plays Yoru. If Yoru goes out of meta, then what does he play? He's only shown some promise on senti/smokes and you already have Zander/Bang who play senti/smokes. So you can only have 2 of Zander/Bang/Cryo.

So then you have to drop Cryo then and that's not happening. Unless you think Cryo is just forever going to be able to play Yoru and nothing else

If Bang is coming back, then Zander or Cryo are dropped. Could have something like Alym, Eeiu, Kyu, Bang, Cryo.

It does though. Before kickoff, Riot completely changed the meta by introducing OP tejo. Then right before Toronto, they get completely gutted. Not to mention each international just gets a new map pool no one has officials on prior to.

And it's exacerbated by the fact that there such few games on the map pools/metas even if it's a longer time period.
