Yessirski I would like to apologize for my behavior towards you previously. You're one of the few level headed people on this site.
In reality, no, we haven't seen much of CN internationally yet so people assuming they would get shit on were just being talking out of their ass.
NVM that round changed my mind
nah losing to an attack judge while you're defense on split? nrg deserves this loss
bro is watching yesterday's broadcast
its not like me to call upon an emea player for help.. but i speak for everyone when i say we need ardiis to turn up!
isnt 100t a clothing company?
isnt this basically like "fruit of the loom gaming" or "adidas gaming"
baits were more believable when people put effort into researching what they were shit talking
sen fans are the most qualified to talk about which teams are shit, we know from experience
somehow missing so many kills while spectating lurkers. i thought they would be good by now
For first time LAN, they don't look that bad. When they're playing together in form they're scary even against NRG, but other times they look completely lost (swinging everything). With more consistency this team will be very good.

I won't argue the first point because it's clear you didn't read the entire page. Here's a tiktok that dumbs down the findings for you: https://www.tiktok.com/@dr_idz/video/7255455536341159194?lang=en. I would like to see your research showing that it is harmful rather than mine that proves it isn't.
Points 2 and 3, The amounts of these ingredients in energy drinks fall under the allowable limits to be considered safe. That's why I added the numbers. Niacin can be harmful in amounts 100 times the RDA. A monster has 2.5 times the RDA. This means you would have to drink 38 cans of monster (in a single day) to reach an amount that could be considered harmful. You mention frequent use, as in daily. These numbers are based on daily amounts. RDA means Recommended Dietary Allowance, or how much you need daily.
Drinking one energy drink a day, as you mentioned, will not give you a high enough dosage of ANY of the potentially harmful ingredients to be considered unsafe.
Point 4, you're still relying on the idea that artificial sweeteners are less safe than hfcs. I agree, hfcs is incredibly bad for you. It is worse than artificial sweeteners. Conveniently, most energy drinks are moving away from sugar in general and are using safer alternatives
sucralose and aspartame that are used in sugar free energy drinks cause cancer scientifically proven
Scientifically proven false. See: https://www.who.int/news/item/14-07-2023-aspartame-hazard-and-risk-assessment-results-released
an insane amount of b vitamins in energy drinks can cause nerve damage and liver damage
Only Niacin, and not in the dosages of common energy drinks. A monster has ~40mg, or 2.5x the RDA. It can cause damage from 1.5g, or 100 times the RDA. Not even close. See: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK548710/
too much taurine causes damage to not fully developed brains
Energy drinks have around 1000mg of taurine. Taurine is considered safe under 3000mg daily. Though I would like to see your source on its effects on developing brains. See: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6536745/
fructose corn syrup that is used in energy drinks is the leading cause for obesity
That is simply not true. Obesity is caused when the delicate balance between calories in and calories out gets tipped off. If you eat or drink an overabundance of ANYTHING, cooked chicken breast, rice, vegetables, healthy and unhealthy foods included, you will become overweight.
Also, a majority of energy drinks these days are sugar free. You seem to recognize that as you mentioned artificial sweeteners, but you still brought up high fructose corn syrup?
elaborate on which parts of energy drinks are harmful and cancer causing
I just don't see the justification for banning one while actively promoting the other.
Caffeine is not nearly as addictive as nicotine and has no real health risks. Simple as that.
What negative health impacts are you seeing from energy drinks? The primary energy ingredients of redbull are caffeine and taurine. Caffeine is one of the most extensively studied supplements in the entire world. The risks and benefits have been validated thousands of times in various studies. Taurine has been studied (albeit less than caffeine) and shown to be safe when used in moderation.
I do not doubt that nicotine has performance enhancing effects for esports. That can be true for almost any supplement. But the point it sounds like you're making is that players should be allowed to do anything on stage. which they shouldn't. Adderall is widely used among esports competitors, would you be okay with players using it on stage?
Also, consumption of nicotine isn't banned. Consumption while on stage is. He could have used this between maps, but he chose to do this knowing the rules: https://twitter.com/d00mbr0s/status/1688623687615049728?s=20
are you forgetting that nicotine is also a depressant, or just ignoring that.
please dont act like the usage of caffeine is as severe as nicotine, youre being disingenuous
I think demon1 has potential, he might need some flexing lessons though. Not enough ice yet
i will say im happy with the timings for the matches. for the first time i don't have to fuck up my sleep schedule to watch games. unfortunately, at least one region will always be screwed over
yeah, in my opinion that should not have just slipped under the radar. some people may argue that it's ok because she wasn't on stage, but it was still broadcast and eg should have received a warning at the very least.
they did get punished, they lost a timeout on map two if im not mistaken. whether or not they get punished further, we will see, but i doubt it as it's the first time. although they were aware that they would get punished before the match
noooo the druggies need their fix even when they're on stage >:( rito horrible company
Or get addicted to more accessible drugs. These guys have an infinite supply of redbull and they choose nicotine.
Thatβs always been the biggest eu cope. Everybody had access to the same strategies and resources then, everybody has access to the same strategies and resources now. The scene as a whole has evolved, but teams were on an equal playing field.
Do you not realize he was arguing against the use of drugs on stage or what.
Buddy ππ
Yeah and he was also referring to a substance that you have to go out of your way to get addicted to. You compared it ti a prescribed drug to combat depression. I really donβt see your point. Do you think because players need medication for any medical reason they should be able to do drugs on stage?
look at all the drug addicted emea fans try to cope ππ
Yeah dude antidepressants prescribed because you have depression and a nicotine product you use because you made yourself addicted to the drug are totally the same
bro you see how toxic this site is over text could you imagine 20 people baiting in a voice chat?
-25 in a single series! if i had his k/d in ranked games i'd be banned
nevermind, just saw 0 starts 1700 posts. i didnt realize this was bait :/
Yeah these two win. Voting is closed
