welp, this discussion didnt age well......

Sentinels released on their Twitter that they will suspend Jay "sinatraa" Won from the team until further notice as they conduct a private investigation. I don't think it's overblown when a tier 1 org is saying that they will literally suspend their superstar over what many of you are saying is "a probably fake allegation" or whatever the fuck ppl were talking about above.

For me, it has to be:

-Android
-food
-mixwell
-ScreaM
-Asuna
-thief
-ShaZaM
-nukkye
-ardiis
-Kaboose
-corey

This isnt in any order btw, and lmk what u think abt this list

they dont have haters since the haters know they will choke against a T1 team anyways

I feel if we had player rankings per week or month, that would be pretty cool, it would establish who did good during the last week of competition

wait, i have the text file, but where's the audio?

imagine sentinels without sinatraa. that's like Nike without the shoosh

Is no one going to talk about how teams that were literal nobodies a few months back are now about to represent NA in Masters? NV, LG, and XSET were some teams I don't think anyone really thought "Yea, EZ ticket to masters, LUL" What's your thoughts on this and who you guys think might upset in Masters

posted about 3 years ago

Wardell frags out with the op, and before you say "tHAts WhY heS aN oPPer", he runs the eco of most teams low, and even when he isnt running with an op, he is good on those rifle rounds

posted about 3 years ago

Yea, since he is without a doubt, their best player and the best player in valorant to not go pro. C9B were top 3 best NA teams with him, but a bunch of changes later and they struggle to keep their 10th place spot on the VLR.GG rankings. Besides, they lost to a T1 team that is good but hasn't done the best itself either.

Drone is good, he just needs to find his stride. He may have under performed in the last few VCT S1 games, but he is their main duelist, he actually probably contributes alot to their win pct since he wins alot of vital rounds and clutches. Cutler maybe but even that move might not be it

posted about 3 years ago

TenZ isn't a competitive player, if he were, C9B would be contending for Masters rn.

Also, you are forgetting other aim masters like ScreaM, Kaboose, ANDR0ID and maybe Shanks

posted about 3 years ago

ok, then bitch abt it in HLTV, not here. And what kind of fucking analogy are you choosing mate, that made no sense at all

posted about 3 years ago

I say drop Subroza, since he can be very inconsistent in his matches, he either pops off or has a rough patch, and its like flipping a coin, you dont know what side you're getting until you get it

posted about 3 years ago

I dont think Liquid would be the move, they haven't done very good in Challengers, and to be fair, Liquid have 6 players any ways, 7 would be overkill.

posted about 3 years ago

Myth would be interesting in the coaching position

posted about 3 years ago

true, drone was doing below average on the leaderboard

idk what happened but u hate to see it

AS A TSM FAN, I FUCKING WANT TO RIP MY EYES OUT AFTER SEEING THE GAMES D:(

-Subroza. He is either playing like the next coming of TenZ or he is playing like a 17-year-old scrub trying to find his groove in competitive Valorant. What I'm trying to say here is that he is inconsistent. Much love to Roza, good guy, but he needs to get steady fast.

+Brax. Brax is a free agent right now and is in need of a home. Brax can frag out, and lurk, which is a double whammy TSM needs badly. Brax is more steady than Subroza and he can actually hit his ultimates LUL.

TSM missing VCT Masters is not allowed, let alone if they want to be in the conversation of Top NA team. Right Now, that would be either LG, SEN, 100T, NV, or GenG. Idk what their mindset was going into VCT Challengers, but it didn't work.

Good luck to the teams attending VCT Masters!

As an avid TSM fan, I want TSM to win but we have to be truthful here, LG ever since the VCT began has been one of the best teams in NA, without a doubt. They are probably the best team to not make it to Masters yet, and they play very aggressively while being coordinated. TSM is aggressive but they can also be very passive at times as well.

For TSM to win, they would need to crank up the heat, and shut down thief and aproto, since they are the biggest threats on LG. They also cant play very clustered with one another, since LG just steamroll every team that plays in packs, the individual plays are key.

For LG to win, they need to play like they always have, aggro but coordinated. TSM's weakness is going against teams who play very aggro but are tactical as well, its like a double whammy.

If TSM bans Icebox, TSM hopefully take it 2-1
If LG bans Ascent or Haven, LG takes this 2-0

Either way, its gonna be a good game to watch

I think FaZe has better team play, but NRG is a team-based on individual plays, ANDR0ID is very good at getting crucial picks and s0m is very coordinated in his playstyle, Shanks is an aggressive but tactical oper

2-1, NRG for the win

posted about 3 years ago

Fair

posted about 3 years ago

NRG Shanks, 100T nitr0, GenG shawn, and NRG ANDR0ID

posted about 3 years ago

TSM can beat GenG. Will it be an easy task? No, not at all. GenG with shawn is already very scary, and at times, versing them becomes hard to watch since they are one of few teams who have great sync. But, if Drone plays Phoenix and Subroza plays a support, we can win this game

I feel like it's because regions like CIS, TR, JP and others dont have as big an influence in the main stage of valorant esports, unlike regions like EU or NA or BR. But i will admit, i dont quite understand wtf is going to happen for the masters bracket if only 10 teams are moving on

posted about 3 years ago

yea, hiko said 100t was practicing with him since thursday just about almost everyday

u forgot that tarik has turkish roots, and he a major winner

posted about 3 years ago

Yea, Ethan was doing good on EG, I'm pretty sure EG was ranked as top 10 teams in the world, so this was really out of the blue, but i'd love to see this work out and hopefully come to terms with Dicey

posted about 3 years ago

yea, I see what you mean, I felt like there were some people missing in the EU side.

posted about 3 years ago

I, for one, dont have a defintite best player, as vlr has to create some kind of ranking to establish this, but here are some notable names in the conversation:

-ScreaM (EU)
-yaccine (EU)
-m1xwell (EU)
-Pyth (EU)
-TenZ (NA)
-Hiko (NA)
-Food (NA)
-sinatraa (NA)
-Kaboose (NA)
-Wardell (NA)

Not saying here that players in Korea, LATAM, and other regions arent good, but those are some of the best players ive seen play in those regions since i haven't really watched many other regional matches. This is simply a list i felt was the best from both the EU and NA side of things, since i have watched many hours of matches from those regions the most.
