Because Sentinels is in a group with like 4 middle of the pack/ bottom of the barrel teams (LOUD, 100T, 2G, EG).
Meanwhile in C9's group you have G2, MIBR, LEV and NRG.

No, before they brought luk_xo to the main roster they had been doing a few scrims a week with him, like 4-6 a week with luk instead of tuyz on it. It's not an issue of team cohesion, it's an issue of bad mental.
LOUD wins, then they get close on the second map and lose, followed by a complete crumble on third map. That's the script.
