see the thing is, they have and will continue to practice non stop… there is no guarantee saying that no changes will be made and all players will remain on the same roles. there are plenty of players that are spectacular in their roles on the free market that c9 could have picked up but they didnt, which means that c9 knows what they want to do. yay can play op role/sage if he goes back to that, vanity controller and has played cypher and kj before, zellsis and xeppaa are extremely flexible, and leaf is flexible too. you cant really judge teams only based off of the past season as the meta is shifting and maps are going out of rotation. its not fair to judge a team by the players and their roles individually too.

just bc the players havent done something before does not mean things cant change. they have already started scrimming and practicing, well before a lot of teams have, and they are probably trying to adjust to the role clashes. yay plays oper yes but he did use to play sage for a while on andbox too btw. c9 has a lot of flexible players, xeppaa and zellsis are crazy flexible, only time will tell. i wouldnt count them out of S tier just yet.

shit talkers are gonna keep talking shit, all they see is the black and white of every situation- C9W lost to SR and therefore are overrated and bad. however, C9W truly did basically dominate NA GC this past season and are a really strong team. they just fell short on one of their first LANs and had an off day, so it cost them. they will for sure come back stronger next year, but best of luck to TLBR, G2 , and SR as they finish the tournament.
