These are based on their performances in the NA qualifiers this year so far. Sentinels can easily be top 5 but they badly need to step-up their game and work on their mistakes to work their way back to the top.

Don’t get me wrong, TenZ is an insanely good player, but yay is one of the, if not the most consistent duelist in NA so far. He does very well in all the agents he play and he does a really good job for his team. He establishes a good presence in every game he plays and doesn’t need to outfrag everyone just to be considered a good player. I don’t think I’ve seen him have a bad game (or maybe I haven’t watch a lot of their games). He’s just consistent af. So yeah, for this match-up, I agree that yay>TenZ (coming from a SEN fan). Although I kinda agree this is a huge team diff here :/

You guys can downvote me, too but I also think that they were playing how they usually are in NA tourns, or in your term “sandbagging”, because of course they would save strats for the bigger tournaments like on Reykjavik and here in Berlin. I’m not a pro, but I’ve been watching Sentinels since Masters 1 and I feel like something was off during their rematch against G2. Like they lowered the pace of their game or switched their team playstyle back to default temporarily or somethin. Glad I’m not the only who noticed it ‘coz EU fans keep saying we’re just on copium or somethin LOL. I hope they’ll come back stronger during the playoffs :D

i’m a huge 100T and GMB fan but idrk who’ll win this match. after GMB’s performance today vs. CR, i’m kinda worried for 100T but i kinda wanna believe more in 100T just bc they have played against the best team in the world almost their whole valo career. I kinda disagree. Imo, they are BOTH good duelists and BOTH have different play styles so there’s no need to compare ‘coz what’s more important is how well they play for their team. At the end of the day, no matter how well they did on their own each game/match, the team who WINS it is the better team. After all, Valorant is team-based, just saying 🤷🏻‍♀️
