You learn from the scrims and coach, not the individual import players. And it's not like JP is absolutely incapable of producing anyone close to being a talent. Meiy is by far the greatest talent produced and there's others too like SyouTa, CLZ. When I was saying "ban imports" I was talking more about the players and not the coaching staff. You can get a cheap control pad like Aqua Control, it's just that you have to clean it a lot and take care of it a lot. But the more important factor is choosing between speed or control surface.
