Valorant is a game that needs accurate and precise communication, and because it has many skills, powers that generate tactics automatically, the more accurate, faster and more efficient the communication, the more advantage you will have in the round.
I'm not saying that it's impossible or unfeasible for a player to play at a high competitive level in another language. But this is an analysis I've been doing, teams that play in their true language have an easier time winning. But this is not necessarily a fact, for example, Acend won the Champions and has several nationalities in the team.
And in CS:GO itself, teams that have an ''era'' are teams that have the native language. The same will apply to Valorant, mark my words.

Yes, it appears to be a clean answer. But I don't think Optic is wrong to insult (trashtalk) during the game, this is something that is already introduced in the professional FPS, it's something cultural. He's not wrong, but neither is Optic.
What really matters is if you as a professional are a trashtalker outside the game, considering that you need to have the notion that work is different from personal life.

It's funny how literally the worst regions from last year are now the best performing. While Europe and North America did not do so well. If the year goes like this, it will be an insane year, it's beautiful to see so many regions with the same opportunities and similar qualities, it just makes the game itself better.

We all know Zombs is leaving, but shouldn't Dapr go along? I haven't seen him play the same thing since the first Iceland Masters. I really think ShahZ, Tenz and especially Sick are great players but I don't know about Dapr he never gave me confidence

My real prediction is: Loud Will have no chance, OPTIC team is just so much better. Loud has never faced a real strong team like OPTIC Before.
