I know u don’t know this user, but trust me, if he wanted to, he would become APAC’s noyn. Hella underrated.
Preface: this guy has had some banger analysis and predictions on the APAC scene and most of all he has (mostly) accurate info. His pickem also had PRX winning for CPH and I promise you, this guy is the real deal.
If he says EDG is making at least playoffs, it means they are making playoffs.
They looked really great I think, I knew they would be crazy having myself some insider scrim info (which said they are at least as good as DRX and having the potential of PRX) but I never expected them to have this fundamentaly great style they showed throughout LCQ.
I expect them to make at least playoffs for Champions and have a similar performance what DRX showcases.
But what makes them really have great potential is the quality of the players, everybody seems to be able to step up whenever it is needed and no one being a liabilty is a unbelievable advantage to have. If KK is dead then Life can carry if Life is dead so can Nobody just clutch out the round and so can Chichoo and Haodong. What I want them to do is to straight up fly to Europe arrive as fast as possible and scrim much as possible, steal some of the utility setups other teams have and invest the resources to catch up a bit on the current meta.
That being said they are for me an incredible team having some of the best fundamentals I have ever seen from a team and also firepower that rivals the best of the world. I can see them make a top 3 run, but for now even reaching top 8-6 would be an amazing achievement for a region that only has an underground scene and nothing more.
