It seems like GE isn't going to be his new home after the KellyS news. Can anyone enlighten me on his possible future? Truly one of my most favorite players to not have played for DRX and definitely deserves a good team next season.

posted 3 months ago

You're right. It also sounds like he might just love the capital of Greece...

posted 3 months ago

Probably switched because it was too common of a name and also because there‘s a VCT team with a similar name…

I really hope that Athan turns out like Flashback!

posted 3 months ago

Since we are in need of an initator, I have been a Lakia remontada advocate. But Athan I don’t mind.

posted 3 months ago

Yes he is. However, I’m asking because many DRX fans on VLR have mostly neglected these rumors and prefer to discuss other possible options for our future.

As you are all aware, we are playing with DRX Prospects player, Athan, for at least the TEN Valorant Asia Invitational. My question is: If Athan plays well this OFF//SEASON, would you be happy with him continuing to play for us in the upcoming season? Or would that not be enough to justify failing to pick up a more established fifth for 2025?

posted 3 months ago

Would be good changes. If k1Ng is still unavailable, then Foxy9 please join GEN instead of GE!

posted 3 months ago

Our second best player after Flashback at 2024 Champions Seoul. I have no doubts he will be great at both simultaneously from now on.

posted 3 months ago

He's been to 9 international events while being the best performing player on the roster in 6 of them and second best in the other 3...

posted 3 months ago

I wouldn't mind any one of Lakia, BeYN, Zest, etc. However, there is a certain beauty of resigning Lakia to the roster, as an international event winner, to prove himself on DRX.

posted 3 months ago

MaKo is already established as the best controller of all time, while also providing insane firepower on an extremely consistent basis. Therefore the prospect of a "Russian johnqt" isn't a good argument. As you said, MaKo is already a good IGL and I am sure he is going to continue to improve.

posted 3 months ago

I am a huge advocate of Lakia remontada. Now that we need an initiator, the player that ruined our 2021 needs to come back and redeem himself!

posted 3 months ago

Bro is jealous since PRX don't have any IGL let alone the best one...

GEN aren't finished!

BREAKING EXCLUSIVE NEWS JUST IN: Brazil's aspas has reached an agreement with KOI for the VCT 2025 season.

The agreement is that aspas will never join the Spanish org's roster. It was further discussed that a 3 season, $50k/week contract is not on the table. The two parties are fully confident in this.

Hello, ChatGPT.

posted 3 months ago

I think its highly likely that playwrs like Ivy will eventually surprass him but I’m praying for Lakia remontada; rejoin DRX and make up for throwing our 2021.

posted 3 months ago

Honestly, we are so blessed with depth, especially in the controller department. I think our current lineup would be t3xture, MaKo, Munchkin, Flashback, Lakia. However, I think this lineup will very well change after just Pacific Kickoff, when players like last years‘ Tier 2 players inevitably prove themselves in Tier 1.

I forgot BLD are just… gone…

2G will outclass LOUD in 2025…

posted 3 months ago

As a fan of a certain team, do games have more intense atmospheres when playing against other teams from the same country? Are rivalries even existent? For example, between the likes of BBL/FUT, BLD/PRX, KC/M8/VIT.

posted 3 months ago

Lakia remontada. He may have thrown our 2021 but now that we need an initiator he can redeem himself!

posted 3 months ago

Yeah but Lakia needs to redeem himself at DRX. Show everyone he's him now.

posted 3 months ago

Come home Lakia...

posted 3 months ago

Lakia may have trolled our Masters Berlin 2021 and Champions Berlin 2021, but now that DRX need an initiator, it's time.

posted 3 months ago

Yeah, honestly my heart goes out towards NRG. Unfortunately, all of that talent is going to waste with FNS still on the team...

posted 3 months ago

FiNESSE... It's a stretch to call him a pro, though.

posted 3 months ago

I agree!

Historically, fans have labeled DRX as a “slow, boring team.“ However, with the acquisition of both Flashback and freeing, we‘re taking it to the next level. Forget double duelist, double controller, double initiator. Double sentinel on every map will be the new meta shifter employed by DRX. This passive form of map control will be snoozefest for players and spectators alike, making the enemy antsy. Then, they will inevitably peek into the best Aimers of the East, leading to victory for DRX.

Also, DRX should sign Meteor to form the triple sentinel, anti-Valorant, terrorist squad.

Everyone knows you are far too good to be on such a list.

Would rather 0-time international event player Shanks over 8-time international event player FiNESSE, to be fair.

I just don't understand. We gave our old roster 2 full years together. 6 international events in a row for just 2 Top 3 finishes. Now we have a new, young roster that has had just a singular event together and got Top 5 - 6. Should we not give them more time?

posted 3 months ago

I know HYUNMIN is amazing. However, I'm more concerned with the possibility that the entire roster gets dismantled and we have to start again from scratch.

posted 3 months ago

That's what I'm saying. Why does everyone fail to understand that this roster just needs more time together...
