Maybe it has something to do with the age of the game in general, A "newly 4 year release game of VALORANT" compare to other game that has been around for ages will have extremely poor comparison especially VCT CN only just out this year.
Logistics + VISA. We've seen the LOUD last minute return to americas with barely any prep. GE indian players needing 6 months to get VISA to Korea, Xccurate & Jemkin needed 3 months of VISA to go korea. 2023 season Indian players had to wait till APRIL to finally compete. People from certain nationality are GUARANTEE to get repetitive yearly issue of MISSING matches if schedule heavily packed.
Work days matches. Reason why we get this 4 days break, is not just because of new venue relocation. Matches on friday/weekends are guarantee to get more crowd attendance. 40 games season will bound to have more weekdays matches.
additional note: I don't really follow league or CS, can't give comparison but my main argument for those 2 are those game are well more established and valorant is still "new".
I feel like the only thing that prevent future LOCK/IN event would be VISA issues. Players barely signed during november/december and have to deal with lock/in country visa + visa for VCT host cities.

EDG been hugely under credited and underappreciated in this turney with SEN given all those spotlight. So if any team beat SEN, they consider lower ranked than them? not even same ranked at the very minimum?

EDG beat Sentinels in this champs specifically and progressed further than them. EDG should be in S tier as well, S tier is deserved for teams who are still in the competition.
Pacific & China = Asia unite.
2024 is a good year because 2/3 turney held geographically in asia, CN and pacific teams heavily benefit from this.

As much as I don't want to see G2 win (more boring valorant), having FNC out of tournament is good, boaster can spend time playing pacific ranked. Pacific ranked has the best firepower aim region, something boaster can improve on (if he doesn't get kicked that is).
hot take: mindfreak to be the IGL.
I've seen many PRX vlog where he keeps getting annoyed at the team inability to do structured play. One of the things he said was:
"I'm the behind guy, I can't place the smoke if you don't pick a site to choose where you wanted to go etc".
Put mindfreak as the IGL, let him make the call, there will be a moment where his teammate will be forced to obey him instead of playing loose with hivemind mindset etc.
feel like akame had similar situation to 2023 Lakia. Both have hand injury that made them perform bad on scrim tryouts.
