The volume of people I am seeing overreact about the trash talking during and after the game between TH and PRX is insane. Maybe it's the fact that a lot of the little nerd kids who watch this game never played sports. But it's awesome the kind of emotion that drives players to stand up and yell across stage or causes a coach to get so fired up he's yelling at his team and opposing players. Rivalries are good, who cares what TH coach after the match all it does it make me want to see that matchup again one day even more. Instead weenies who watch Val are saying he's "pathetic" or "should be fired".

Luffy won't have much real trouble (if any) with opponents for the next arc or so, he'll use Gear 5 and make a mockery of everyone. People will complain about how much oda uses it and be upset about the stakes being taken away but this choice by Oda may be purposeful. The reason he will be so unrelenting with Gear5 is because the two characters that stand between him and the One Piece both have the ability to neutralize/take away Gear 5/Luffy's Devil fruit power. Blackbeard with the Yami Yami no mi and whatever Imu's ability is (shown to be able to puncture Sabo). These two characters having the ability to cut the joy and laughter of gear 5 short at any moment will raise the stakes higher than nearly ever before and force Luffy to show the people that he's joyboy with or without the fruit while also fighting for his life with only Haki/Will

EXACTLY! You have described one of the vast possibilities for other teams to game the system that MM and Faze do not have afforded to them. I don't think throwing rounds is the biggest deal I think knowing how many rounds specifically you need to get to and letting that dictate strategy is an unfair advantage

Just think allowing a situation like Moist lose to Faze and end up with a -11 round differential. Now the loser of TT and OXG have to stay higher than -11 and they are qualified (atleast until SR game) then SR will enter their game and know exactly how many rounds they need to up to qualify (another advantage they have over Faze/Moist + OXG/TT) is dumb. Especially when the only reason they are doing it is to have a broadcast for every game. There is a reason every football match starts at the same time every season on the last Matchweek

Round differential being tiebreaker, you guys will have finished your game and TT, OXG, and SR will have a clear picture of the differential they'll need to qualify. This could easily change in game decisions on forces/strategy. Where you guys and faze just have to play out the game and hope the rounds line up in your favor

Since round differential is the tie breaker, Moist and Faze's game will end and TT, OXG, and Shopify will all know the round differential they need to qualify vs MM and Faze who will have to just hope they don't pass them as they sit on their hands
