I was not trying to take credit off of what Optic and yay did at the time. They clearly were the team that better adapted to it. It's just hard for me to imagine they would've had the same success if they had to adapt to a different meta at that time. That's where the 'lucky' part of my rant comes in. After all, they went to a relative 'irrelevancy' once the meta was gone. They clearly dominated that meta, tho, and the results were insane.
Yeah, indeed, FNC are more readable as time goes on, and that's a thing a lot of old-school EMEA teams suffer constantly (I mean look at the first Masters Reykyavik, they tried to play the game as if it was CSGO lol).
They constantly insist on playing the same slow way that characterize most EMEA teams. Works initially, then it just becomes really stubborn. Fnatic 'potential' is always there tho, in contrast to Optic ie.
They just need to learn to adapt. And I think they can. Their firepower is indeed abusive w the core of leo-alfa-chronicle.
I think it's time for them to end their derke-duelist chapter tho, might be wrong.
