yah, im not excusing them losing, xolos played better.

but the stage was trash, for both teams

posted about 2 years ago

First game the stage was horrible, and both teams can hear each other, now its been nearly 3 hours since KUR-XOLOS match ended, and the next game (LEV-FUSION) hasnt even started

I forgot about G2, you're right, they have crazy viewership in international events

I mean, hes just playing here, i dont see malicius intent, just friendly banter, and also... facts, SEN isnt going to Iceland, true, but they also havent lost to a BR team

Might still be high if M3C, C9, KRU and LOUD go far

SEA deserves a Top 10 team, they got 2 teams on Champions quarters

Sick is actually great, as a players, as a person, and he flex, which is often the most loved role in a team.

Only thing I dont like about him, is that he reminds me of the kid from Toy Story, the one who destroyed Toys.

do you also forget the enemy's team coach is their ex-coach who probably knows all their former strats and playstyle, and this was their first match in the new patch with only 1 day to prepare strats?

they are playing with a 1week old sub, they had to swap all their roles and you want them to play like before the sanction?

porque solo 3 jugadores en meta? quien mas esta en el roster?

Its like night and day, their attack looks like Tier 2 at best, but at defense , they're the best in the world

I think recency bias is justifiable since this is THE MOST IMPORTANT EVENT OF THE YEAR, everyone worked for the main goal Champions

1) Gambit (Obviusly, won Masters 1, missed Masters 2, but won Berlin with dominant games against other tier 1 teams -remember their 13-0 vs G2 and a somehow easy victory over Envy at finals, and now they're Champions finalist, first team to reach the finals twice!, they've the strongest mental out of any team right now)
2) Sentinels (Won Masters 1 and then Maters 2 without dropping a single map, dominated NA the whole year -idc what anyone says but BBG was an odd match for everyone and SEN cameback to win that Challengers event anyways- had a great showing at Maters 3 but had a rough tournament at Champions)
3) Acend (Won Masters 1, missed Masters 2, had a great showing at Masters 3, and now, besides the VK controversy, they looked dominant over all their opponents with solid 2-0s to reach the Grand Finals at Champions, with probable the best Jett in the world -cNed-)
4) KRU (The first iteration of the team -with Leobas then Bnj before Keznit joined- had a respectable 3rd place at Masters 1 and solid showing for a minor region at Iceland, they improved and reached top 8 at Masters 3, and now reached Champions semis with the hardest run out of any team -Liquid, Furia, then Sentinels and Fnatic your Iceland finalist and then the reign champions Gambit, losing barely at a 37-38 overall scoreline in the best Valorant series ever)

From now on, its really hard, most teams missed 1/2 of the biggest events AND/OR had a rough showing at Champions, its really hard for me to place them but if i were to choose 6 teams that stood out this year..

-IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER-
Team Liquid
EnVy
X10 Crit
Fnatic
100T Thieves
Vision Strikers

Nothing but respect for KRU, if they keep this progression, next LAN they'll be finalists, and the next one champions

The Subroza way, spray smokes most of the times pays off

AFAIK Kun has more money than any NA org, so i dont think so

Australs should go instead of 6K, since 1) They're a better team and 2) they were 2nd in SA LCQ

posted about 3 years ago

Australs and 9Z are good teams that always give KRU hard matches, LATAM obviusly deserves 1 more spot!

sad to see TL go to lowers so early in the tournament

posted about 3 years ago

No way Envy wins vs Gambit, so 100T will have to play LCQ, TSM is 100% out of champions and SEN & ENVY go directly

posted about 3 years ago

I think its clear that the top 4 teams rn are Sen, 100T, NV and XSET, with TSM as close 5th.
All the stage 1 teams made it to the next round, and all of them were close games (4 13-11s)
