Shox has apparently asked for his contract with lqd to be terminated.

I am uncertain if that will go through, but it is possible, if not likely, that he will depart the org.

Shox cites travel issues between na and eu. His performance on liquid has also been lackluster, with only a 0.66 rating; this was requested after Antwerp.

I feel like it's almost always bad, because it is super hard to take space without a duelist, but some teams with a great igl can make it work

I hope they win but it is highly unlikely and ge need to instaban breeze

I wish to clarify

I love ge as a team and India as a region, I just feel like they are not to the current APAC level. I cheer for my Indian brothers and hope for their improvement, but truth is they are just not as good right now, and they will definitely grow

Rrq will win, they almost got 1 map on xerxia. If he can iron out every issue and play perfectly, then maybe 2-1, but there is no way they can win

This shows how good xerxia is LMAO

Credit to where I saw this: https://www.vlr.gg/108286/annie-steps-down-from-c9w

Annie "AnnieDro" Roberts has stepped down from the Cloud9 White roster to pursue content creation; she will still stream under the C9 banner.

She has been part of the roster since they were known as MAJKL, back in September 2020. With C9W, AnnieDro and her teammates have consistently been the best female team in NA. They won the FTW Summer Showdown, and 4 North American Game Changers series, while only dropping 2 maps to other females teams, both to upcomers Shopify Rebellion. C9W have also been known for entering various tournaments, both women's and men's, including VCT opens.

Annie has noted her own mental and physical health from the incredible grind, lack of happiness competing, and inability to give 100% due to her health. This is the first time a founding member of C9W has stepped down. It is unclear if Annie will return to compete one day, whether with a female team, or with a mixed team. Annie has, during her time in VALORANT, has primarily piloted Sova, with 200.6 ACS, and Raze, where her ACS jumps to 276.6.

Annie's replacement comes in the form of Bob "Bob" Tran, formerly of Soniqs. Bob has not played in official matches since February 2022, where she and Soniqs came 1 match away from qualifying into VCT stage 1 main event. Bob stepped down from the Soniqs roster after. She has been LFT since march 28. Bob has similar Sova statistics to Annie, with and ACS of 200.1 across her time in VALORANT. It is presumed Bob will simply take Annie's role in the team. It is likely Melanie "meL" Capone will continue to IGL for the team.

C9 white look to continue their success in female circuits, and hopefully appear at the GC championship in Berlin. They currently have 80 points, the most in the NA region.

Cloud9 White are now:

Melanie "meL" Capone(IGL, Sentinel)
Katja "katsumi" Pfanl (Controller)
Alexis "Alexis" Guarrasi (Flex)
Jasmine "Jazzyk1ns" Manankil (Duelist)
Bob "Bob" Tran (Sova/Initiator)[presumably]

We need an igl, justifying antidote. It is not hellranger because of how messy ge is.

Skillz is justified in the list

posted about 2 years ago

You could put rawfiul there fs, just my opinion dm is a very strong player asf

posted about 2 years ago

Doesn't matter, they won't succeed in APAC

But here it is

Skrossi - chamber
Rawfiul - Jett/duelist
Skillz - sova/initiator
Antidote (igl) - smokes
Lightningfast/Excali - flex

I think skillz is just too good in India to not be here, and someone has to learn sova, so hes the chosen one

After suggestions, Jett/duelist will now be occupied by rawfiul of Enigma, replacing deathmaker, although they could both be equally viable imo

posted about 2 years ago

In the highest levels, there is no luck as players will play with both white and black most of the time

However, WHITE HAS THE HIGHER WIN RATES ACROSS THE HIGHEST LEVELS OF PLAY, albeit slightly

This is because the first move controls the game into a favorable line for the white player. The difference is VERY MINISCULE, but that is what makes or breaks a game at the highest levels, where the difference in player skill is also VERY MINISCULE

posted about 2 years ago

No

Xerxia just destroy, th #1, very likely APAC top2

posted about 2 years ago

You should watch imo, it will def be banger

You're from NA west coast right?

posted about 2 years ago

You are right

GE will just bomb out imo, they are simply not good enough at the moment

However, I'm really hoping they show the full potential of SA, and don't choke again! They will win if they just play like how they did v Enigma
