I think ppl see chinese team and just think they all suck. Its true that the region still the weakest and the majority of the teams have bad fundamentals. But they didn't see the form EDG has been in since the roster changes and during the cn playoffs. I would never count EDG out. They're basically the pioneers of the chinese regions and have been since last year.

i'm telling you this tournament once geng lost its open for anyone to take. top 6-8 team form atm is very close. It comes down to which team can adapt and adjust the best as the tournament drags on.

yeah i'm thinking about the stylistic match up. DRX is heavily favor against emea teams. I feel like their record should show that. Also fnatic is on a heater ngl. Their players are still insane and derke looking back in form.

nah i've been following edg since last year. I knew this tournament was their best form. They legit had a good shot coming into it. People perception of edg was bad from previous internationals. This roster change was good for them.

nah just lev they're like either the worse team or the best team. Their switch up actually skews everyone perception of team power level.

heard that prx and edg scrims a lot. Its actually why i get so scared when edg plays prx. Their playstyle just works so well into edg.

their mid season changes they were struggling but now they're peaking with the right system. I watch a lot of EDG gameplay and i can confirmed this edg is the best its ever been even compare to last year. Its not just individuals popping off.

That's what i love about this edg. Smoggy and kangkang can have bad days then the others will pick it up.

I knew it was extremely hard but with their similar map pool edg definitely has a chance. The problem is that most people perception of edg and china is very flat cause trace also bomb out. I watch all their games i knew they had a very good chance coming into this because their playstyle is a lot more calm and strategic. You can see how they cook those eco rounds and they don't overheat as much.

its not lol. meta shifts and team changes all the time. Its hard to have consistency when that happens. You see consistency throughout the year though. Look at SEN, heretics, geng, lev. EDG made good roster changes half of the year and the roster changes is paying off now. They got better.

I never stop believing in my kings EDG. LETS FKING GOOOO. Made history once again and broke top 3. I'm very proud of their hard work. I honestly feel like they play so much more united as a team now not like the flashes of individualism last year. Everyone just more calm and consistent. Props to the team and the coach.

Kangkang isn't cocky at all. He doesn't even stand up anymore. He's still insane duelist though
