There's a reason why NA valorant scene is one of the most competitive region if not the most, it's literally because all of NA cs and a bunch of pros from other shooters switch to valorant. As a result u have these stack af tier 1 and 2 teams trying to compete on top of hungry new commers. You're gonna get this level of competition.

It's quite honestly toxic. If you ever had a friend who's a girl or hear a girl in valorant most of the time ppl make jokes or harassed them/say really derogatory things. It's quite a common thing in gaming. Valorant have a decent number of girl gamers.
I read some of r/valorant post from time to time and they're complaining about some weird stuff lol. Also not understanding how the rank system work and such.
r/valorant is basically the casual fanbase of valorant that doesn't care about competitive esports at all.

ya its good ppl are overreacting. They want chamber to be a duelist-sentinel and differentiate it from kj and cypher playstyle. Before he was doing everything which is why he was a must pick and just super strong. With only 1 trademark he lacks the info util that cypher and kj has and now is more of an sentinel that specialized in anchoring sites/angles and taking duels.
nah chamber is still good on certain maps and for certain pros to pop off on (yay for example) because of how his super fast op speed and way his sheriff works can single handedly win ecos if you pop off. Chamber is still really good just niche now and picking him can be a double edge sword. The best thing was nerfing his sentinel abilities because picking chamber now is actually a risk with less sentinel abilities to stop flanks and know when someone is entering a site. Its actually a great idea because there wasn't much they could have done to chamber gun without ppl complaining how it becomes useless. Before chamber was just overpower as both a sentinel good for stopping flanks/info , anchoring sites with his teleports, and a semi duelist with his sheriff and operator ult. Now he's a risky sentinel that excels at anchoring sites/angles but lack the info for flanks that cypher and killjoy excels at better on.
It's a good change . U can't just insta lock chamber now as it doesn't necessary fill sentinel role well and very niche now. This opens the door for other sentinels like kj , Cypher, sage to be more play. Chamber is no longer must pick.

lol you must live under a rock check youtube and type valorant, see how many videos and content this game get daily. Views popping off on youtube/twitch and you call game dying. Asia scene is popping off and its growing everywhere else.
Ppl keep bringing up this constant change to meta argument saying it kills the game is so dumb. Riot literally manage league one of the biggest esports for 10+ year and constantly change metas, which keeps the game fresh and exciting. Its necessary when you have a game with character abilities otherwise there will be underuse character and it will stay boring (remember the astra/viper post plant meta). Pros/teams that are truly good are the ones that can adapt and change their playstyle to keep on top despite meta changes ( look at the dominance of SKT/T1 in League period for example). You can tell Valorant is growing in regions world wide (japan/SEA) for example because twitch viewership/numbers going up steadily even without tournament.
