Tbf sometimes teams just don't work out. Old faze was that team that disband and everyone on the team relatively found more success on other teams.

I feel like valorant masters actually interesting now like other regions are actually competitive and putting up good games. Last masters was by far the best. The only thing is valorant need actual lans with crowd and have better format/expand how the teams play imo. They're trying too hard to copy league. For me csgo is only exciting when its the top 8 with a crowd and the top teams playing. Valorant still haven't had a crowd this long into the esports is really bad, but I guess riot being super careful about covid.

They have good players but really kinda struggle with teamplay at times. i think they're getting better as a region so we will see. I see a lot of improvements from turkish and brazil teams.

The popularity of a game is very much related to twitch/stream viewership there are correlations (See games like league, fortnite, apex legends, GTA) . Cs is just not a game that casual players can easily get into or play. You have to go thru 3rd party to just get decent ranking experience with less cheaters. In some regions world wide its literally dead scene and filled with cheaters because of terrible anti-cheat. Its a better esports because its been there for quite literally 20 years.

I mean the matches with top teams like navi and g2 are interesting because it's nice to see their level of aim. But like when u watch bad teams or mediocre team play it's so boring imo.

Mechanical ceiling is lower is good for wide casual appeal. It's been the case wirh every riot game they follow the philosophy of easy to play and challenging to master. At pro level game is much more team based. This is the valorant vs csgo is the same argument as league vs Dota. Valorant still a new esports. There are crack 15 - 16 year Olds that haven't even been in the pro scene. This year we seeing more and more talents as roster are changing up.

It's pretty evident that valorant has viewership everywhere including asian countries whereas in cs its mainly europe Brazil NA that has interests. Japan/ Apac region viewership is pretty good. Valorant in Thailand seem to be getting pretty popular too.

The first masters was literally the birth of valorant esports many regions other than EU and NA were just starting game and its so easy to dominate back then. Valorant didn't take off in Japan or other regions till later that year. It's pretty much just NA and EU and vision strikers from kr. Back then teams like Paper Rex was still playing csgo LUL . Basically no competition.
