Sadly I don't think gank qualified. It suck cause deffo had visa issue and couldn't be there in person . He was playing on like 120 ping or so . And the team miss out.
Pretty much edg can occasionally drop games to top 4. The thing is all the qualified teams had like more than a month to prep. I feel like the mid tier teams like rng tyloo or weibo will rise up. I just hope EDG can convincingly qualify and not lose cause they get counterstrat.
Top 4 team been pretty stable and consistent in cn so far. The thing about Chinese players is a lot of them have Crack aim and individual mechanics but they play very sloppy or have one or two really good maps and some maps completely bad. Look at ASE for example. Edg probably most counterstrated team though.

Even riot said it wasn't supposed to be a super competitive Tournament, its to showcase all the teams. You have to remember so many teams were new and had like less than a month of actual practice. Still its a pretty sick tournament where its one game and you're done type of deal so I wouldn't say its meaningless. It does make it really hype and everyone got to see all the pros play in lan.
EDG already did amazing to make top 8 imo. They beat Navi and T1 and got china their first win. Even if they lose and get 2 0 by Loud they will come back stronger for champions don't worry.
