Both companies making changes to their game and it feels like it's cause of the competition in the same genre and esports. If valve open circuit works and become a huge w and riot system sucks over time. They will be forced to make changes to improve instead of doing nothing.

They need a hybrid. True open qualifier there's bound to be upsets and off days. Imagine teams like prx fnatic running open qualifier and just get eliminated. Has to be a balanced with some ranking system.
