I think a lot of people including myself would agree to this, if they built around Jawgemo and signed talent like Trent we would all be excited, but a lot of the choices they’ve made has us questioning what on earth it is they’re doing..

I don’t think they will even see a top 10 finish with this roster sorry. Not with how other regions have gone with building super teams. I just see this team having low finishes but I agree, hopefully some more good changes come before the deadline but if I’m honest it seems asif EG will try this roster for atleast 12 months.

I can respect that, look I think the roster would have looked good if they built around Jawgemo and sought out other talent. I’m all for “homegrown” talent but I think EG has really dropped the ball here, there is so much talent currently in NA unsigned that would have really boosted this team up and actually given them a fighting chance come next year. The problem I see is them having more bottom finishes and just not doing well at all. At the end of the day none of these guys have even been exposed to international play in Valorant whereas other rosters have. I can respect that they want to stick with their roots but when you have the opportunity they have with a franchise slot surely you want to make people actually believe in your org within the first 6-12 months?

I want GENUINE EG fans to come here, right now and tell me what your honest feelings are towards the roster moves of your org? After seeing what other NA orgs have done with building rosters, are you guys happy with what EG is keeping/getting? And do you think this new roster will bring success next year? Do you see the roster going well?

Oh for sure, I don’t doubt in the near future that we see him in a franchise team but now he’s going to be locked into another contract, this is where teams like The Guard can play hard ball with the other orgs who inquire, hopefully it’s not a lengthy contract and it’s flexible.

Honestly I saw the article and feel insanely bad for the kid. Absolutely deserves to be on a franchise team. Super young kid with already a lot of talent that’s easily mouldable.

Yeah exactly man, the fact that he lives everyday and wakes up thinking that what he does is okay is also super fucked. I honestly hope something is done about it soon. I understand it's the OpTiC core of FNS, Crashies and Victor with coach Chet but ill be interested to see how the dynamic goes without yay on Chamber and Marved on smokes. A good smokes player is such a critical role next to your IGL so be interesting to see how they go. I have high hopes though.

Honestly happens alot in APAC, i know for a fact there are a couple OCE players who literally got Radiant this way. It's literally just cheesing the system but Riot like doesnt really check unless ur SUUUPER high on the leaderboard or people have mass reported the account.

But dude totally sad BcJ didn’t get picked up, he performed really well during champs but I always wondered if his health conditions is what made orgs hesitate on him, kinda fucked up but just means he will prove the doubters wrong in the Ascension league. Based roster though, looks good on paper!

On paper the roster looks really good, I like it, looks like a roster that you’ll have to keep a close eye on though in terms of how well they synergise but over all seems like a real solid roster. I think some teams may underestimate them.

Partially true, I just dont see OW2 remotely hurting the playerbase of Valorant in the long run, once they get bored of it they'll just come back to Valorant and OW2 will never be touched again.

I don't think it will, OW2 is just new right now so everyone is happy to play around it for awhile, plus the fact that it's now f2p. Valorant has new stuff coming in the new year with gamemodes and stuff. It's a game thats super easy for new players to get involved and even those who want to take the game more competitively. I think OW2 just has all the hype around it right now which is fair, but I dont see it even remotely effecting Valorant in the long run.

I mean yeah he did apologise for everything and said he was going to do better next time then not even a week later that whole ShahZ being dropped drama happened and he acted like he was in the complete dark about the whole situation which was not the case what so ever so he kinda went back on his own word. But to be fair people do just need to move on and if you dont like him no one is forcing you to watch him. I personally dont.

I mean EG has essentially done the same thing with their roster keeping c0m, Boostio and Jawgemo. Like I've previously stated I can understand keeping Jawgemo and building around him, possibly Boostio too but keeping c0m literally makes zero sense. I think orgs who have gone down this path of keeping rosters similar who haven't had previous success are going to get a rude awakening come time of the launch event. Look at any of the other NA or even EU teams who have built super teams these orgs who have refused to do so aren't going to have success.

Honestly we will take anything at this point! Would love to see some of our players be given the chance to prove themselfs. Awesome news!
