Mans actually forgot Bang was on the team or something LMFAO.
Wait I thought Syyko was the Head Coach and Kaplan was the Assistant?
HAHAHA yeah I feel you mate, I play for a team aswell in OCE and I aint got no verification.
Yeah Redgar is so chill, respect that guy.
Nah Jawgemo found a lot of consistency and started playing suuper well. c0m has just kinda stayed the same, just been that like “floater” I guess. I just feel like when you look at all the talent that you could have signed from NA especially in terms of initiators, IS c0m better? Not really.
Nah but like how could you hate nAts? Dudes so wholesome and humble. You don’t have to be a die hard Gambit/M3C fan to like nAts I feel.
Nah I can see it working, if it’s 1 thing s0m hasn’t really struggled with it’s been his raw mechanical aim. I think moving him off the entry role which in recent times he’s struggled to have impact with and find consistency, and stick him on a role like Smokes where he can support his team and play around angles and allow his mechanical aim to take over seems like a pretty big win in my books. Everyone will go off recency bias on how his performance has been and I’ll agree that it hasn’t been glowing but sticking him on a new role might actually be what he needs. I’m sure Chet and FNS will get the most out of him for sure.
Hard agree with the Ethan comment. Only initiator I felt like he played well was Skye and even then it took him awhile to adjust to it. Didn’t rate him much as a KAYO player or as a Sova player when they switched the roles on 100T for a short while. Never really seen him play Fade either so I’m struggling to see why EG would pick Ethan over the likes of BcJ, Eeiu, Trent or even someone like Flyuh.
Yeah I’d agree with you there. He has struggled a bit with consistency but you’re right, if anyone can utilise him to his full potential it’s mCe. I’m excited to see this roster compete, be extremely interesting to see what the roles will shape up to be too.
Bro you do not need to be a Top 100 player to play this game professionally to some degree, even if you’re only playing in local tourneys or local leagues. Just because you reach Top 100 Radiant doesn’t mean you can play this game professionally either.. I’d say do what most did, start at the bottom and work your way up. Find a team or start one yourself and go from there.
What’s the point? It’s a disappointing roster. I feel bad for Jawgemo. Dude is so talented I just wish they built a super team around him.
I’m probably biased because I’m from OCE but I’m keen to see this team play. WRONSKI is super talented and I’m just keen to see him fair up against other regions like NA and EU.
Zellsis on a team like C9 will make you change your mind I feel. On SEN we saw glimpses of how well he can play that entry roll but I always felt like he was being held back from truly getting in there. Obviously that came down to how poorly SEN’s LCQ performance was but all in all I think Zellsis will surprise a lot of people next year.
Asuna was already playing Raze originally on Bind before Will came into the picture and always seemed to be doing quite well on the roll, also Asuna is playing Neon on Fracture so I don’t think they’ll have a problem there. I think it’ll mean team comps will change but it won’t be too drastic.
Don’t you have to be a player or some form of official in something? I’m not sure I’m only guessing here. Only people I’ve seen with them has been Players or Reporters such as BoDork and George Geddes etc.
Always rated him as a caller after I heard his comms once, kinda thought he would be pretty decent as an IGL. I agree, I think EG really fucked up on not picking some of these Guard players up but I guess we will just have to wait till next year to see how EG goes. I really do hope we see neT on a franchised team soon though, definitely has the drive to keep improving and flex as much as possible.
It literally just comes down to who hits the shot first, 1v1 aim duels like this aren't anything to go by especially when both players can actually aim.
Looking REAL good! Tixx looking really nice too, saved a couple clutches.
BOBO looking waay too strong, Look really prepped and ready to win. Looking like a 2-0 BOBO
Honestly i'd say its a 50/50, some are trolling for a reaction but some are also being serious. I see it waay too often.
Agreed, never hated the guy or thought he was terrible and recently he has improved a fair bit, it’s just the annoying fans comparing him to players that have achieved so much more than him and slapped the big “SkRossi clears!” I get your proud of a player and you think he’s great but we don’t need to hear about it 24/7.
Opinions are always a good thing to have in a team dynamic, but Syyko and Kaplan are really good at what they do and i'm sure they would have the best idea on who to stick on what agents.
I do agree Sacy had alot more of a say when he was at LOUD as from memory of reading a post about bzK, bzK wasn't much of a stratting coach he was more of a manager/coach, Although he helped where he could he wasn't this insanely strat heavy coach and this was one of the reasons why he departed LOUD after Champs. Now that Sacy is at SEN and they have a pretty good coaching staff behind them, I don't think Sacy will be telling players what to play.
I mean I wouldn't really call that "poaching" in that case. Teams will fill the 6th man slot pretty easily. You could just get a cracked out flexable 16-18 year old from the Tier-2-3 scene and call it a day.
I don't see why Sacy would even have a say in what agents TenZ plays seeing as he isn't the Coach for SEN. Agents are dictated normally by the coaching staff.
I'm struggling to see why Aspas is even in the conversation here when he plays for a completely seperate team? Aspas is still currently contracted to LOUD and I don't think thats changing anytime soon...
Oh no 100% they won't be moving him off Chamber/Jett but it's good to see him widening his agent pool because its been his biggest downfall IMO. Would be pretty cool to see him flex on other agents like KAYO/Skye so respects to him for grinding out new agents.
Isn't that what I was implying with my comment? You would only be feilding offers from other teams IF you have been approached by another team who must be offering better money especially because the team hes currently on is franchised. If this wasn't the case the tweet would be worded differently and wouldn't have stated HE is looking at feilding offers. By the sounds of the tweet, atleast the way they've worded it, They were happy to keep him but he has informed them he will be feilding other offers first.
Yeah it wouldnt make much sense to stick him on KAYO when Chamber is still really good on pretty much every map. I'd assume they'll just have him on perma Chamber and have Dephh play KAYO as thats what XSET had Dephh playing.
I mean it was kinda obvious when they signed Zekken no? Zekken can play Raze & Neon where as TenZ has only really been comfortable on Jett. I'd assume TenZ will be perma Chamber, maybe KAYO but I mean Dephh played KAYO for XSET on some maps so I doubt TenZ will be playing KAYO.
I think they'll be moving s0m into a different role such as smokes. I've felt like more recently s0m's duelist has lacked. He was already playing Omen on Icebox for NRG with the old roster, and his aim has never been the problem, it's always been him creating space and taking first duels. I think smokes would work well for him too because it allows him to let his pure aim take over and just deny space rather than take it.
The way they've worded this is like HE wants to look at other offers which leads me to beleive he's been approached by another team? Seems abit strange to want to leave/feild other offers from other orgs when your current one is partnered. Unless it's a contract $$ thing...
Not everyone, Couple have mentioned other teams that aren't from NA, but when most people think of the "Americas" League they think of NA, that's all.
AMERICAS: 100T/C9
EMEA: NAVI/FNATIC
APAC: DRX/PRX/GE(OCE bias sorry)
EG in B tier is abit of a joke. I know its suuper early to even do these tier lists, but if the EG roster is what it's beleived I think they belong more inline with C-tier.
If you live in Melbourne then its every other hour.
Just want to add I have nothing against Derke I think he's honestly a top 5 player in the world right now. I'm only going on recency bias and how FNATIC has fallen short Internationally. I know they've had roster iterations and it sucked to see them lose at Champs and drop out. I have faith this new roster of FNATIC can really push for titles this year it just comes down to how badly they want it and how well they keep up/keep ahead of the meta. FNATIC are one of the teams in EU I've always loved watching.
Nah tbh it was the poorly seeded bracket on ESL's side and also due to the fact that its single elim bo3's
Could be onto something. Although I feel like this year alone will be really telling of how much FNATIC really want to win something. They've been really good for awhile now but always been falling short. If it just becomes the same results as this year surely something has to change right? I know they've been bringing in and kicking out players as they go through Masters and Champs alone but they've been keeping that core of Boaster, Derke and Mistic who has now been dropped. You bring up some good points though, He seems to farm domestically and looks a little shaky at times when the moments matter Internationally. Insanely good player that brings ALOT of firepower and knowledge but just seems to be falling short in the moments that matter.
Bro why do people think that streamers have ALL their money tied up in ONLY streaming? Like its their only income or something? LMFAO bro most SMART streamers invest their money in other things. Streaming isn't just their only income...
BOBO 2-1 rDeeW buff
GoM 2-1 last map 13-11 for GoM
Bumpaah always been sussy, He's content though, can be funny at times. I'm sure he didn't intentionally mean to show this if he knew he was going to get banned for it LMFAO probably thought because they were fully clothed/in costumes it at worst would have been a warning.
I think like alot of us have said. Building around Jawgemo and keeping Boostio wouldn't have been a bad idea. But the fact that they've kept c0m instead of looking at other players that play his role WAAY better doesn't make much sense. Not to mention it doesn't seem like BcJ is joining either. Ethan would and will be a good addition but its deffs not a top10 roster in the league by any stretch of the imagination.
Yeah I full agree, Like the F/A market for EG was quite large and the fact that they kept c0m literally has me scratching my head. If you have the ability to pick even Flyuh up why would'nt you? BcJ is another one that would have bolstered that roster but EG has taken this weird stance and by the looks of it, No interest in actually winning or building a super team like the rest of the competition has. I worry that EG will keep this roster, They will have poor performances and then just nuke the whole thing and try again which is honestly in my opinion a shit way to go. Why not build a roster now, lay the foundations and actually have a shot at a REALLY good roster into 2023 not only that, Signing better players will have more eyes on you, and bring you more fans.
Yeah I fully agree with this, I think the 2 of Boostie and Jawgemo can actually work. I like how they started to play towards the latter part of the season and once jawgemo was on more solidified roles he looked waay more comfortable and actually able to do something. I think picking up Valyn and Ethan would be good. I'm not the biggest Ethan fan although I think on a roster with, Jawgemo, Boostio, Ethan, Valyn, Trent I could see Ethan actually performing quite well. This is the part that actually annoys me though. With all the Initiator talent in NA such as BcJ, Trent, even Flyuh, I struggle to see how c0m has even kept his spot? Like I didnt think he did anything amazing FOR EG and it really confuses me why they're even keeping him in the first place but I guess we will see.
See this is the sort of risk taking they pretty much NEED to do at this point. If the roster is true with Jawgemo, boostio, c0m, Ethan etc... I just dont see them being ANY form of contender for anything apart from being a bottom team. You would think that with this franchise slot EG would be looking to do something to get eyes on them and bring the fans in but it just seems as if they don't care for that. Surely they've accepted they wont be winning much then.
Sad reality really. Would have love to have seen them build a super team but I guess they have other plans.
