They could have but what Riot did was in the rules of the tournament. VK knew the rules cz they were already told everything about known bug and exploits and the penalty they will face if used. If the match would have been replayed that would have been Brazil Favouritism as X10 was disqualified for using the same bug

VGIA got that map loss because they were the one's to use it for the first time in a competitive environment and were given the benefit of doubt.
X10 used it after VGIA and the match was forefeited in the favour of the opposing team

VK did a brain dead thing using that cam exploit. X10 was literally given the same penalty as VK has been. Using that cam bag is against the rules and u don't see any other team using it and not getting punished. If Riot wouldn't have punished VK for the bug abuse that would be favouritism

Well it's kinda legit till the 12th round....imo they could just restart the match with 12-8 as the scoreline but ig that would be too much of a hassle so they counted the eco loss that VK would face. Not a great decision by Riot ngl but using that camera was pretty bad too😬

Not a game mechanic. It's a known bug and no other teams in whole of KR EU BR NA etcetc used it except X10 VGIA and most recently VK. Already knowing that it's a Bus yet still using it in front of live viewers around 200-300k. It's a miracle how Riot didn't disqualify them cz if u will read the competitive integrity article which teams have already read. They will be disqualified from the tournament for exploiting known bugs.

Well VK just has to beat X10 and get their revenge from cNED and friends which I'm sure they are capable of. As for the Glitch, the ruling was by the books. VGIA wasn't disqualified for that glitch cz it wasn't ever used before that tournament and they were given the benefit of doubt.

Shitty decision by Riot to not fix the bug. Even Shittier decision by VK IGL to use it.

It is a lighter penalty tbh ....for VGIA they started the next game with a map loss. For VK tbh they forefeited only the rounds in which they used the glitch that's 4 and 1 (Eco Disparity) that makes it 5. 13-8 score

A professional team abuses a known exploit in a match that is streamed to 200-300k people knowing very well that teams have been disqualified for using that can setup. A rematch would have been better imo but they have already set the rules for using exploits, a rematch would be them favouring the Brazil team

That would have been hypocritical and against the rules of the tournament. It's a competitive integrity clause that all the rounds in which a known bug is exploited will be forfeited. If they would have given a rematch that would make people question why VGIA and X10 were penalized for this

They gave them 4 rounds that they lost and 1 economic disparity bonus which takes their score to 13. It definitely is not the best of decisions tbh a rematch should have been better but Riot has penalized 2 teams in a similar manner previously for using that bug so not penalising VK and just a rematch would have been pretty hypocritical by Riot

Valorant has some desperate orgs....lots of teams trying to get good players. A lot of extremely huge teams from CS have hardly done anything in Valorant. U can take Faze Clan for an NA example and NaVi for EMEA. Both are shit in Valorant yet pretty great in CS though NaVi is God level...S1mple King :)

Well this Finals legendary and had years and years of buildup. Two Top Tier teams Navi and G2 with 2 Kings S1mple and Niko both haven't won a major yet. Fucking I played CS a lil bit after Playing Valorant and even I was watching the PGL finals. It was an epic Finals...once in a lifetime kinda thing.
It was beautiful to watch S1mple finally win a Major. Now that he has already won a major...an match of this proportions won't really come back.

Well Fnatic was Iceland Runners Up so they had amassed a lot of points while 100T was sitting at home during Iceland. It is what it is anyway 100T can still very much win LCQ....who else than them?they were one of the best in Berlin and on their best days they could have bodied Sentinels in Berlin
