  • Fl1pz: the most Flex player in APAC, he is IGLing & fragging hard.
  • Blaze: one of the most consistent players in APAC.
  • tehbotol: man, do I need to say smth about him? Big Balls Smoker, VCT LAN most kills record holder, top 4 smokers by stats on last Champions.

More of it, they're LAN Proven players. His price tag is reasonable.

Most likely Detonation or GenG

PRX? They stick together
Talon? Full TH
TS? Full PH
RRQ? wait, they have money?
GE? those NFT sells huh

Those teams you mentioned should prefer BOOM & ONIC players + Famouz Nakya.

AE players know their chance of getting picked up by the Franchise team is smaller than the players I mentioned above, so that's why they prefer to stick & grind together for the upcoming Challengers & Ascension.

Plus not too involved in that roster mania, so they can be focused on building their gameplay instead of mix & match the roster for 2023.

Smart move.

I think the decision to honor their players is commendable

I agree with AP & You about this point.

But, At least they need to get those best ID talents on their squad.

GUESS WHAT?

From what we heard from 'RRQ AP' IG Live recently, they don't want to BUYOUT those Restricted F/A players (Blaze, Fl1pz, Tehbotol), that's what makes me mad / triggered.

Free Only. No Buyout KEKW

One of their Owner is aware of it (Nano), they've been in talk with BOOM last night (AP said this on his live)

But fl1pz, tehbotol, & blaze have a Buyout Clause (Restricted F/A) and RRQ doesn't want to pay for it.

BUYOUT? NO THANK YOU, FREE ONLY KEKW

Mix PH-ID

Confirmed by Their CEO on his IG Live just now.

You have all the privilege & resources to build a superteam from the 3rd & 4th best teams in APAC and what you do is mix your current PH lineup (Tier-2 APAC) with probably some leftover or FA ID players (Seems like they don't want to Buyout players)

GG KEKW

TBH I'm very disappointed with their decision, more disappointed than seeing those 5 KR teams on leaks XD

TO ADD:

I respect 'em for keeping 1-2 of their current PH players on their roster.

Buy Hey, at least you should get those best possible ID talents on your squad, and guess what?

From what I heard from AP (CEO of RRQ) IG Live recently, they don't want to BUYOUT those Restricted F/A players (Blaze, Fl1pz, Tehbotol), that's what makes me mad / triggered.

They could literally build a superteam like these:

Nakya-Lmemore-Blazeking-fl1pzjder-Tehbotol

But they decide not to. They only want Free Players, No Buyout KEKW

RRQ was established in 2013, they're one of the oldest and the best esports Org from SEA.

Its founder is the son of a conglomerates in Indonesia (Midplaza Holding & Ayana Hotels) & already been in the esports/gaming ecosystem since 2011.

OneUp (sub-company of Qeon Holding, Parent of RRQ & OneUp) supports the Riot Ecosystem (Valorant & Wild Rift) by organizing Riot official tournaments in Indonesia since day 1.

They are also investing in both Valorant & Wild Rift ecosystem by building a team, their WIld Rift team is one of the best in the world.

They were one of the most notable DOTA 2 teams in SEA, they were the best Point Blank team in the world (FPS game that was popular in ID,TH,RU,BR).

They've been investing in multiple countries (ID-TH-PH-BR-MY), They are proven in Franchising (MLBB), and They have one biggest fanbase in Asia.

https://www.instagram.com/teamrrq/
https://www.tiktok.com/@teamrrq?lang=en

They're consistently on the Top 10 most views team in the past 2 years, only from Competitive match, without TWITCH CREATORS. If you count their streamers view hours then ULALA they will be on that Top 3 or Top 5.

They might be a bit unknown on the international stage, because they don't have those American games, League, or CSGO titles. But if you are into Mobile Games, they're the King.

And some of them probably joining TS.

APAC is different from EMEA & Americas, nationalism is a HUGE thing here.

It would be a crime if one or more of the ID/TH/MYSG/PH subregions doesn't make it to franchising. Each of these subregions deserves a spot.

Each get 1

posted about 2 years ago

If the rumor is true, the current APAC Slot distribution is:

3 JP - 2 KR - 3 SEA - 1 SA - 1 OCE

Remove 1 from JP and move it to SEA.

I'm aware that Japan is VERY HUGE in Valorant compared to other APAC subregions, but If Riot sticks to that 10 slots per Region, I think the only realistic choice is to remove 1 slot from JP.

posted about 2 years ago

And Strong T2 Scene will not help that much for a subregion that doesn't have a franchising team :)

Imagine if Singapore & Indonesia doesn't have a franchising team, will a young prodigy like Juicy & Monyet get a chance to play in that T1 Scene (Franchising) at such a young age? I don't think so.

I know, I'm that guy who DM'ed you on Twitter XD

But I still have hope that Riot will change their decision :')

I have a very big concern. Unlike EU & NA, APAC teams tend to fill their squad with their own subregion talents.

KR will be filled with Korean Players, JP might have a bit of a mix but mostly still Japanese players, etc.

So, this would kill the talents in a subregion that doesn't have any representation in Franchising.
