well i appreciate you pointing that out. the issue though is that i wouldn't mind Brazilians using NRG as a team to root for since we're the same region, so i don't really see it as "SA carrying NA", since I wouldn't see NRG beating LOUD and then making it to finals as "NA carrying SA". I know that's impossible to prove, but you can infer from my past messages that i'm telling the truth. from my perspective we're 1 region and i'll stand by that

it's pretty much a renamed org. sure it's not the exact same org in every way, but it's different than Optic picking up all of Envy's players. Navi and FPX aren't the same orgs in the slightest because both still exist today. Envy is no more.

so why is BR and LATAM grouped as SA, yet NA and SA aren't grouped as Americas? seems hypocritical to me

idk they looked really strong against Heretics, where pretty much no one expected them to win, but they won pretty dominantly.

they had a sad defeat to Talon 10-13, 11-13, but Talon lost to DRX 1-2 in a close map 3, so whos to say Talon isn't just a really good team? i want to see EG against the other 9 Americas teams so we can correctly gauge how good they are, but EG is looking promising

does that not mean his teammates were the weak links in that map? aspas went 8-1 FK/FD. he did his job beautifully as the star player, his team just couldn't convert the 5v4s into round wins

me personally, i made a thread honoring aspas and his +39 kills after map 3 and agreed that saadhak and fns are equally the best IGLs in the world

100T isn't our 2nd best team though, SEN, C9, EG, and 100T can all beat each other on any given day. it's a 4 way tie for 2nd best from the NA teams since it's too early to say who is definitively better.

NA has 1 S tier team and 4 A/B tier teams
BR has 1 S tier team, 1 A tier team, and 1 C tier team
LATAM has 1 S/A tier team and 1 C tier team

South America is split into BR and LATAM also, so it's good that each region has 1 really good team. but LEV is not better than NRG.

dont even try to say EMEA hasn't been shitting on Brazil (and LATAM but a little less) since the start of valorant up until 5 months ago, when LOUD won champs. even immediately after their win, EMEA fans kept calling it a fluke victory yet NA was happy for brazil even though we lost. Now, EMEA fans are cheering on Brazil as a way to shit on NA, saying we're being carried by Brazil. deep down, EMEA fans hate Americas as a whole and see Brazil as a lesser of two evils. Real LATAM and BR fans accept that they're in the same region as NA now, and we'll all get stronger together during the regular season because we're the strongest region.
