something that helped me overcome my depression was writing down a few things each day that i take for granted that others would love to have. whether that’s a talent, a physical feature, personality trait, or even a material object, i would write it down. i’d also write down how i’m feeling that day and if it’s bad, i’d write steps to improve my mood for tomorrow. not saying you have to do specifically that, but cater what you write down to the issues you’re having.
i’m the type of guy to keep things all in my head, but writing things down and not being afraid to be vulnerable with yourself helps you find the root of the issues you’re having.
