I love competitive gaming. I love the aspect of eSports. But we need to drawn the line between poor sportsmanship and professionalism. In any other aspect of amateur leagues in any competitive environment, that kind of behaviors would illicit an immediate ban. Why not in eSports?

And the argument of "it's always been like this in gaming" is invalid. It still doesn't make it okay. You want the industry to grow and become viable? Then it needs to grow out of and unlearn toxic behaviors. Ofcourse, I don't expect enforcement to happen in lower levels, but we need to make sure we are allowing the behaviors we want in our spaces.
