Well if you are they've only won one event, they have the potential they just aren't there yet.

Where tf was FNC last year? I'm genuinely curious where did they go?

posted about a year ago

Nah the goat team was optic gaming last year, by far the most dominant we've ever seen. FNC very well could pass them, but for right now it's optic.

(Edit:) Holy shit the EMEA stans lmfao, fnc win one tourney and they all think they're the greatest team of all time. Chill I said it could change.

mb wrong guy, you good meant to click on someone else.

After getting a top 3 performance at masters without something and the impact that he's had on VCT pacific I think PRX could be a better team than FNC. Being able to throw Reyna at DRX and completely stomp them on Bind is a massive achievement. As long as Something is practicing while his team is in Japan I believe that PRX are going to make the grand finals of Champions. If you take a top 3 team in the world and then add the best player, if you don't win the trophy who tf are you.

i would tell you to go outside but you might get lost

Are you sure PRX would ban haven vs Fracture? I think EG would win but it seems strange they wouldn't ban that map.

Their rosters are locked until the off season, swap nitro for dephh imo

Gaia 2.0 would be cool, but at this point riot should stop trying to re-release skin bundles. We've had Prime, Reaver, Oni, Ion, Glitchpop, and Magepunk. Personally I would want new original content.

MCE is the most underrated coach by far. Took a team of Rookies to fucking Masters and then brought 2 brand new tier 2 players to the pro scene and defeated strong teams like NRG.

posted about a year ago

Kinda, Kaplan decided to make these specific changes to make it harder on the team. If they scrim Challengers teams, every challengers team doesn't play every day there are many days where teams are open. Usually at most there's only 4-6 teams playing on a specific day with the entire league containing 12 teams. I find it hard to believe that sentinels wouldn't be able to find practice partners. Not to mention they could also scrim against Kru or another team they already played that wouldn't make the playoffs. While 1 week of practice isn't a lot, 100T is given the same time frame.

posted about a year ago

Why would SEN beat 100T? Tell me.

posted about a year ago

Yeah but at the same time SEN almost lost to Furia and 100T won comfortably, I see your point, but making these comparisons between teams usually doesn't translate well as teams have different play-styles. Like how PRX has more of a fast paced play-style with taking map control against a slow playing DRX, and then when they play other teams like FNC and NRG they tend to have a slower play-style. Another thing is that because MIBR didn't have heat they were forced to play in a different fashion that I'm sure 100T was not expecting. MIBR historically played with fast mid aggression, because of their roster change they were forced to play a default style instead of taking aggressive map control. So let's say you vod review for 3 hours to counter a fast paced team and they end up playing entirely different.

personally, I think nrg won't have either player. One massive problem that nrg has is that they don't have one specific sentinel player. Victor has proven that he can play jett and raze so they don't need to make a change their. Honestly, I think nrg might sign a player like nAts or suygetsu. (praying we don't get a franchise ready babyj). Call me crazy, I don't see NRG winning a championship until they have a hard sentinel player.

idk what you mean that sen had no practice with marved calling, they played kru with marved calling a week prior.... 100T also has a veteran by the name of asuna, he placed in the top 4 at masters berlin while putting up good numbers. This 100T roster was successful last year in LCQ and proved that they could play under pressure. Something else I'm gonna say, this 100T roster made it champions and sentinels didn't come close to even qualifying for the playoffs last year.

In the vlogs from last year's LCQ in NA we found that because one player was sick on sentinels the org decided no one had to practice. I don't think Rob Moore actually wants to win in valorant esports as much as other orgs. Nadeshot obviously cares as from what we've seen in Tarik's watch party. Also who's to say we won't see a significant roster change in the middle of LCQ? We saw 3 different versions of sentinels during this regular season not counting the coach changes.

Valorant isn't about fire power, it's a tactical shooter. Last year team liquid was dogshit because of scream's igling and again we see Karmine Corp suffer because of his calling. While Jampii, Soulcass, and Scream are indeed good fraggers they heavily suffered.

Practice doesn't matter in the end because both organizations failed to make playoffs, not that sen actually practices anyway.

posted about a year ago

no, just no, sen won't even practice and get 13-0'd

posted about a year ago

Have you seen Marved's igling on faze??? That shit was fucking horrendous. SEN is going into 6 overtimes against furia where previously 100T won against them 2-1 where both maps weren't that close. If you saw the calling from Marved he made a fuck ton of mistakes.

SEN got worse since that game

This is the only logical pick em

SEN doesn't beat 100T, bang and cryo are too good and could beat SEN 2-0. I'm sure nadeshot wants to watch his team dominate and personally I don't think SEN as an org practices very much. Also Marved's igling was a little bit shaky vs Furia and he didn't seem very confident. Stellar could be a massive thorn in the side of SEN as he is a proper igl and has a lot more experience than Marved.

Unless MIBR brings heat back I don't think they will beat Kru, their match against 100T was a miracle and I don't think they will bring the same success without heat. Regardless of the outcome of this game, furia should have an easy first round win as well as an easy win over leviathan as they've played twice this season and won both times.

Cloud9 are going to win this LCQ and I personally expect them to have a great showing at champions LA, they've had a dominant regular season with close games against Loud, EG, and NRG this year. Although Loud may have fallen off, close games against 2 of the top 4 teams at masters Tokyo is a good showing. Not that it might matter at all, but cloud9 did eliminate PRX from lock in with yay and vanity with a dominant performance from Xeppa. Although they have a different roster I would expect the game vs PRX to be close.

FNC got 3-0'd then it wasn't a debate, this shit really started in masters berlin with gambit

NRG might have a very slim chance vs fnatic..... they've looked as if they have greatly improved and are dominating on 3 different maps, bind, haven, and split.

bro look at their split stats this is not ok, NRG are gonna destroy team liquid now

brick_ how did they leave loud for marved when he said he was going to retire, marved was signed into sentinels after sacy and pANcada......

Loud has been on a roller coaster the entire season, they almost lost every game. NRG are looking in peak form rn.

Are you mentally stable? NRG just murdered the team that stopped Loud on Ascent, ON ASCENT. Their bind comp is stuck in last year and the match is gonna be filled with NA fans. FNS Master classed you on 2 different maps, not to mention NRG's map pool is expanding rapidly with dominant performances on Lotus.

Ardiis might be gone, he hasn't been too good on jett. We might see someone else take on that role soon.

bro cursed it

posted about a year ago

I would expect NRG to beat C9 because they are visibly improving, against Furia recently they won bind while losing less rounds and won haven when they lost haven last time. Also EG vs NRG was a very close series while C9 vs EG was a complete stomp.

If you think that a Brazilian team, especially a Brazilian team like LOUD who have players like Less that absolutely HATE NA players, are throwing games against NRG, you're an idiot. I watched Less BM and shoot Zekken's body literally every single time he got a kill on him when they played Sentinels, and even on occasions that someone else killed Zekken. Even though that fat pussy let aspas do all of the work and carry him every game because that's what losers do. Talk trash and BM while the actually talented player carries them.

You can ask silly questions like "do you have any brain cells" all you want to, but your cope is as blatant as I have ever seen before. If LOUD was throwing games it would be actually... ACTUALLY be obvious, and they could incur fines as well as backlash from fans on a large scale and the team could even be dissolved for it. That's actually happened before, kid. They're not intentionally throwing games. You're wrong.

LOUD might be a 7-0 team, but they're also one of the only teams who have been pushed to three maps in almost every series they have. Worship them all you want to, but five matches out of seven they have dropped at least one map against their opponents. You can fellate aspas all your fragile little heart desires, but when you look at the actual game to game stats they do not appear nearly as strong as you seem to think. That'll be exposed during the next major, so get ready, Precious.

idk man Ardiis seemed online on pearl and on split. Maybe Loud is stuck in bronze.

Zellsis was better than Tenz ever was.

nah they wouldn't they beat NRG there at lock in and NRG are like 6-1 against them on bind from last year.

posted about a year ago

NRG ban Ascent
Loud ban Bind
NRG pick Fracture
Loud pick Split
NRG ban haven
Loud ban lotus
Pearl

This will be the exact same maps at lock in, just a different order.

idk what ur smoking with this "NRG can't clutch" ardiis has the most iconic clutch of vct history and Crashies has been improving rapidly over the last year and some consider him the star player of NRG.
