will always make international events, but will never win them with their current roster.

They need some sort of change, they have been kind of mid.

Don’t let the end of CS:GO distract you from the fact that FaZe Clan blew a 15-11 lead in the 2018 Boston Major to Cloud9 giving NA its first and only Major in CS:GO history.

Because they have no one else lol

So we just let EG ruin their player's worth?

This is absurd as fuck, VCT needs some new regulations.

  1. A player's pay can't be docked before their contract is over. There can be some exceptions like if a starting player was moved to the bench.

  2. Organizations like C9 and EG running budget roster teams should receive less benefits from being in the franchise league, and teams that provide more should receive more benefits.

  3. Benched players (Not subs), should always be allowed to find new teams and explore new opportunities.

These are just my thoughts on how to make VCT better, and to promote a healthier system for the players.

can someone please tell me wtf happened to them after champions 2021?

EG started 2023 with an absurd amount of people on their bench being 10, if G2 secure this spot in franchising they can loan their Game Changers players at any time giving them insane roster potential. EG made many changes throughout their 2023 season and that landed them a trophy, imagine what G2 could do.

EG won champs and they're still doin budget teams

posted about a year ago

I'm very surprised to see that Johnqt is the only player from M80 to be on the franchising spreadsheet. Many orgs missing out on some very good players.

I know they 13-0'd G2, who was the other one?

posted about a year ago

Did you forget the 2023 regular season roster which had players that couldn't even qualify to tier two?

posted about a year ago

If tier one Valorant is supposed to be the absolute peak of skill with the greatest players in the world, why do we allow orgs like Cloud9 who are running budget rosters and effectively becoming a poverty franchise?

Riot needs to add some sort of relegation system, or C9 will just hold this spot and refuse to ever produce an actual winning team.

It might not be JUST Leo, but considering how he's ruining the vct he and many others should be fired.

posted about a year ago

Yes it is the guard's fault, but the decision to kick out the 5 players entirely was done by leo.

He obviously could've let them find a new org to represent them.

eject leo

damn straight

bro get sober and then come back

ok keep living in your world where the vct gets fucked up by some random guy in the shadows.

Obviously, you don't know what protesting is and yes it works.

If you guys want to help, make sure my thread that says 'Fire Leo Faria' never gets buried.

I'm waiting on my flight

We don't disagree, we just see things differently.

posted about a year ago

now u realized you fucked up lol

posted about a year ago

The contract would be 100% relied on the Player's signature. Not the org, at the end of the day the players could deny any org that would attempt to steal this spot by not signing with them and ultimately always end up in the same scenario as a 5 man f/a roster where the original org makes no money off of the slot being sold.

posted about a year ago

In your very first statement, he could be fired for doing a shit job.

Leo IS in control of how the VCT is run, it's in his x.com bio and he has stated publicly that he does control the vct circuit.

In your comparison to the LCS, League lets them sell their spots... Completely different scenario.

posted about a year ago

The only thing is that the players choose the org NOT DSG in this case. What if the 5 players chose a different org? Now G2 is completely fucked over with no slot.

For this to actually happen the table agreement would have to be done with the 5 players NOT the org itself.

posted about a year ago

Stay moist

posted about a year ago

There is legit no legal problem if they treated this current 5 man as a f/a 5 man that just won ascension.

posted about a year ago

dawg read what he said + What happens if the players don't wish to work with the interested team? They could fuck over everything.

posted about a year ago

It's significantly easier to fire Leo than Roger Goodell. It's not comparable.

posted about a year ago

The NFL is owned by a series of individual franchise owners

At the corporate level, the National Football League considers itself a trade association made up of and financed by its 32 member teams.

24/32 Owners would have to agree to fire Roger Goodall, whereas at riot it takes Nicolo Laurent's command.

Do research before you come at to someone.

posted about a year ago

No, Roger Goodell is the CEO of the NFL.

Leo is the Global Head of Val Esports, he could be fired by higher management at riot.

posted about a year ago

Dude

At that point a third party would have to buy the entire org that won, essentially just buying out a normal franchise league team, which can happen at legit any moment.

posted about a year ago

He literally has the power to make these kinds of decisions, he's part of the reason why these guys aren't playing next year.

posted about a year ago

If they let riot choose the org then it could work.

At that point just re-brand the org.
