Genuine question, I have nothing against the dude, but did Cned ever get punished for committing a literal crime?
Was he just not guilty or did they just brush this stuff under the rug?
I never really read any updates on this stuff other than BBL and FF players getting dropped for it
All I can hope for is that KRU doesn't drop one of their players because they lost in semifinals, unlike another org we know...
It's because your favorite team lost, same thing happened for me after the VS | C9 game
You just don't feel as invested anymore
In Valorant they are considered LATAM North
Worst: Crazy Racoon, Havan Liberty, Sharks
Depph is insanely underrated
The dude frags hard on Astra and made XSET into a consistent tier one team
This would be the best possible timeline
What games does your region tend to dominate in?
Korea:
LoL
OW
Starcraft
VS honestly have to become more fluid and flexible, like how C9 plays, because at the moment they rely too much on everything falling into a set plan. I just think people are giving them too harsh time, as they still played close games against Fnatic and C9 while recency bias has people forgetting how they've dominated APAC for over a year now
If BuzZ can work on his awping and the team becomes more adaptive when their set plays don't work, they have a bright future ahead of them.
True, people from NA/EU gotta stop saying KR should've gotten another slot in Champions when they literally had the chance to in the APAC LCQ
The most copium you'll see from us is KoreanOverlord saying DK would've won the LCQ on LAN or me saying VS > TS, with both honestly not being terrible arguments when compared to other copius takes
10/10 on accuracy
Excited for leagues and the return of the ignition series
Yeah, and give every non-Asian team in LoL 1 slot
Merging the two regions would obviously be the best because we would than get the highest quality of teams, whether they are from LATAM or BR
The only issue with this is I think it could be difficult to execute well, especially with the massive size of South America
Main Event
3 EMEA
2 NA
2 SEA
2 BR
2 EA (CN+KR+JP)
1 LATAM
Play Ins
1 South Asia
1 OCE
1 MENA
2 EMEA LCQ
2 NA LCQ
2 APAC LCQ
2 SA LCQ
+1 Slot Champions 2021 Winner's Region
KRU, ACE, Gambit, and Liquid are all still in the running for 2nd place, I've just been most impressed by Liquid and ACE
Like I said, 1-4 are subject to change
VS have dominated APAC for over a year now, with teams like PRX even saying that they were the best team they ever played
If TS keep this up, then they are 100% better, but the recency bias is insane atm
KR don't deserve 2, at best just merge JP+KR for a total of 2 slots
If I'd change my list, I'd put X10 > VS, but not Secret
Secret did much better than people's expectations, but they also got by far the easiest path to playoffs (beating VKS and CR)
Even though NV looked lost and had a player with Covid, you still have to acknowledge that the X10 game was incredibly close
NV also put up a better fight against Acend than Team Secret
X10 are also just a really good team
What are your top 10 teams in the world?
Here's my list:
1) Liquid
2) Acend
3) Gambit
4) KRU
5) Sentinels
6) Fnatic
7) Cloud9
8) X10
9) Envy
10) Team Secret
My top 4 is subject to change on Saturday btw
Edit: I am sorry for putting VS in 8th, clearly people have very differing opinions :<
CR are saving strats for 2028 though…
KR claim KRU as a fellow pink logo team
VAMOS KRU
Remember when people said LATAM was the worst region before Reykjavik?
Look at them now
Just no point speaking our native languages when most of us already understand English
It’s unlucky, I’m confident VS are a top 8 team, just unfortunate seeding :<
But giving them a play-in slot will help the region improve in the long run
Which team do you think has the most potential in 2022?
Basically, will any of them be better than VK?
What are people's opinion on Riot using a similar play-in format for Champions as Worlds?
Play-ins would include regions like SA, OCE, and MENA, as well as lower seeds from major regions
I feel like this would be a good way to give these minor regions a chance to play in Champions, without giving them a direct slot for free (because a lot of them still need time to develop)
DetonatioN Gaming will represent JP next VCT event
Gambit are looking shaky, this match has a lot of upset potential
New Orgs:Warriors
Trialing:Lunatic-Hai, Spear, Tubeple
Rumored:Talon, Ghibli, Pubg Orgs, OWL Orgs, LCK Orgs (maybe Hanwha or DRX?)
DK are having a roster overhaul and some OW players are starting to transition over to Valorant
Good luck my fellow pink logo team :)
I think he’s talking about the other guy ;-;
Robbery?
Reykjavik: Both of your teams got sent to the quarterfinals immediately
Berlin: VK got arguably the easiest group and still couldn’t qualify
Champions: VK used and exploit and, if anything, got lucky they even got a second chance. VKS and VK than both got 2-0’d by SEA teams whilst another BR team lost to KRU for like the 3rd time this year.
You guys have had plenty of slots and easy seeding yet haven’t achieved anything substantial
Maybe in 2022 you guys can achieve something, but for now, BR hasn’t proved that they should be considered a top region
We’ll be able to scale SEA, LATAM, and KR tomorrow
Reminds me of Envy losing Haven against Gambit
Only storyline left is C9 being NA’s last hope
Overrated as in not living up to top 3 expectations? Yes.
But people that are acting like they are a terrible team that can’t rival EMEA or NA are just wrong
They 2-0’d ACE
Took a map off of Berlin Gambit
And lost close games to FNC and C9
Unless KRU beats Fnatic or X10 beats Gambit, they are still probably the #1 non-EMEA/NA team

If thespikegg wasn't dead already, this is what killed it
The one that actually pays their writers. Also, is it just me, or does thespike.gg run slow as hell
Maybe, since wasn't the VCT revealed at the end of First Strike?
