EU 4th place at Champions 🥱
Locking in 30th place 🔥🔥🔥
I actually prefer ardiis over cNed, but yeah NAVI will definitely be a title contender. Not sure I'd call them the strongest though since C9, FNC, TL, SEN, and DRX are also stacked
Please get Meteor some solid teammates, don't fumble the bag like RRQ are doing right now. He could be one of the best duelists in the world with a strong team.
it's going to be like G2 in MSI, they'll win now and than flop on the last few days when it matters most
Americas: NRG, C9
EMEA: KOI
Pacific: DRX, T1, DNG
Meteor who?
Jinggg who?
Patiphan who?
Seoldam who?
Laz who?
BuZz who?
Sayaplayer who?
KellyS is all I know, #1 duelist in the Pacific!
RRQ is going to be T2 if this stingy behavior continues, Indonesians should be hopping on the Gen.G train right about now
Holy shit, DRX getting underrated? This is a rare sight.
26-0 O_o
Yeah, the lcs has just been a snooze fest recently though, seems like they’re losing viewers
EU and BR have massive league fanbases and NA has a decent sized fan base too, Asia is just better at league
Joining GE as one of the substitutes I believe, he’s a talented player that I could see being the next Meteor
Would you rather see tehbotol and Lmemore go to RRQ to play on a mixed ID+PH roster or to Gen.G to play with Meteor +2 others? Either way, it seems like it'll be a mixed roster.
Meteor + Lmemore would be some crazy firepower off the bat
This thread is just a list of changes so far that have happened since the franchised teams were announced, you can check this if you aren't caught up with the recent transactions/rumors :)

(+) AYRIN has officially joined the team and Foxy9 is rumored to join
Well I would argue that players like Trent, valyn, zander, moose, bdog, aproto, NiSMO, dicey, supamen, and BABYBAY, half of which probably won't make it into franchising, are actually higher quality as well than most of the players that are rumored to be on MIBR.
I doubt it, right now it seems like NA has 5x the amount of talent as BR in terms of sheer number of players. Maybe 1-2 Brazilian players will occupy spots on NA teams cause they have the individual talent to make it, but it still seems like most BR teams that aren't Loud still haven't figured out how to work well as a team. Maybe they just lack strong IGLs or coaches?
I don’t know who their Korean player would be then if it’s not Foxy9

seems likely based on all of this
if Sylvan and t3xture don't make it to a franchised team, I will be very sad
Lakia to T1
Meteor and Bail to Gen.G
Seoldam is back
Foxy9 to GE (?)
:)
only consistent player on the team is ScreaM, there's much better talent in EMEA to choose from
He's done well against Zeta twice now and farmed JP (even though that doesn't mean too much):

I've thought that he's a really good player for a while now and I think he's the most underrated KR player other than Sylvan. If GE need a solid duelist, I think he's a good option. I could see him being the next Meteor, since it seems like he's improved a lot since his time in KR.
i think it's Foxy9, since it seems like he's found a team and this tweet makes it seem like it's not a KR/JP one

INSIDER INFO BELOW
the last player is Faker
Keznit to KOI/TH/GIA seems likely
i think KR actually has higher viewership than ID
Agreed plus DNG should be only Japanese too, they already only got 2 slots, seems a bit unfair for 1 of those teams to be built around a Korean player
i agree that at the end of the day it's about being competitive, but honestly tell me with a straight face that an RRQ with a mixed PH/ID roster will be better than an ONIC+BOOM superteam. i can just see DNG being the next CR as well, language matters a lot imo
Gen.G - have the funds to build a Korean super team but are probably going to build an English speaking
Talon - may not build an entirely Thai roster despite having plenty of talent to choose from
DetonatioN - took up a Japanese slot yet are building a roster around a Korean player
RRQ - large chance that they keep PH players despite being able to work with ID players from both BOOM and ONIC
GE/T1 - importing players from other regions, not awful but gives me mixed feelings
Why can't these orgs just make the right move man. Many of them would have a much larger fanbases (nationalism is big in APAC as we all know) and imo a better team if they just focused on one scene instead of trying to go for all of these mixed rosters.
It just seems like the Pacific orgs are making all the wrong moves.
the chill Brazilians and Chileans are the best
I like NTH a lot, but it really should’ve been Zeta Division here. Having two Korean players on the Japanese team kind of ruins the whole ‘Korea vs Japan’ thing imo, plus Zeta and DRX actually have a fun rivalry
F4Q - ended the VS win streak
Based on Gen.G’s track record so far, I think you have a solid chance!
Random T3 players, pretty confident that they were signed for the cost of next to nothing just for Talon to get their foot in the door of the Valorant scene
NU weren’t a fluke, they fell off only cause they lost Lakia
Why wronski slander and it's English comms so if wronski gets picked up he will have wayy better comms
