just a reminder that Bren and Sideshow both picked 100T to win the entire event

Overating VIT as always, you can’t look be dead in the eyes and tell me VIT played better than FUR

posted about a year ago

I don’t know how to explain it, but to me it feels like putting so many teams in S tier defeats the purpose of it. Like S tier should only be reserved for the top 5-6 teams.

tierlists before the tournament rated 100T highly

posted about a year ago

Do you still consider LEV and 100T S tier teams like people were rating them earlier in the tournament after today’s performances?

  1. Champions 2022 - Everything you would want in an event. The regions were all insanely competitive and there were so many legendary moments (XSET turret bug, Stax mouse kiss, BOOM rope play). Every DRX match was insane to watch and ending the year on Loud vs. OpTic was poetic.
  2. Masters Berlin 2021 - This tournament is already nostalgic for me, watching old Gambit own, 100T make their crazy comebacks, VS make their debut by destroying Acend, and CR almost upsetting GMB. What ruined this event was Riot putting all NA and EMEA teams on opposite sides of the bracket, so the semifinals were lame, but otherwise it was perfect.
  3. Reykjavik 2021 - First international event and we got some crazy matches like NU vs V1 along with watching SEN dominate. Not knowing how regions stacked up yet was super interesting too and it was back when Shroud's watchparty was actually good.

Lock In would be #4 since it hasn't reached it's peak yet, but it's on track to go above Reykjavik so far.

he’s always been the team captain, never IGL. I made the same mistake before too cause Liquipedia use to give him the little crown for some reason even though crow was the IGL at the time

posted about a year ago

if you only count DRX and TLN as good teams from Pacific then EMEA only has FNC and NAVI as well

posted about a year ago

Who do you guys have winning the event? My heart says DRX but my brain says NAVI

posted about a year ago

nt Furia, I can't help but feel like dgzin got a little ahead of himself on those last few rounds though :/

posted about a year ago

Dgzin just had to turn around man

posted about a year ago

Either 13-0 with this comp or 0-13 with no in between

posted about a year ago

What is going to happen to him now? Rejoin NRG? Become EG's 11th man? Ascension?

Can't believe the undisputed best player of 2022 just got dropped after two bo3s...

it's just sad ngl

i genuinely could not give two shits about the drama, it's just yet another example of Valorant pros and their partners having zero social intelligence

posted about a year ago

let's be honest, aside from some EMEA fans, we'd all much rather see an NA vs EMEA semifinal than an EMEA vs EMEA

DRX Changers*

And mfs were calling Leviatan overrated when this team is still in the tournament

posted about a year ago

No way you put VIT, GIA, and KOI all above EDG and GENG, at least try a little bit to not let your EMEA bias show through.

Easily the 2nd best rivalry after OpTic/NRG vs Loud

posted about a year ago

VIT and LEV shouldn't be on the same tier, either move one up or one down
C9 are a low A to high B tier team
EDG is on the same tier as 100T as far as I'm concerned

posted about a year ago

Damn VLR is illiterate as hell, gotta go with GENG or VIT as the best NEW teams

posted about a year ago

imagine what losing 7 clutches does to your mental 💀

posted about a year ago

🙏 that DK close it out, I gotta see this team finally win something

posted about a year ago

I swear the trifecta of Pacific team excuses are Zeta's "bad matchups", PRX's "off days", and DRX's "bad mental" whenever they lose a match. Replace PRX's performance against C9 with any other Pacific team and I swear they'd get no where near as much slack. TS and GENG should both be above them based on how well they played.

posted about a year ago

I swear people see DRX do that shit and think they can do it too.

completely agree, the only reason why DRX even pulled it off is they probably have a top 1-3 coaching staff in the world

posted about a year ago

not too much but I thought they'd be around a low B tier team by lock in and at least take a map from FUR. clearly they are still a bottom tier team though

  1. Team Liquid
  2. Paper Rex
  3. Sentinels
  4. T1
  5. Zeta Division

Thoughts?

Relax man each region has a wasted slot:
SEA: RRQ
KR: T1
JP: DFM

posted about a year ago

T1 are the shame of the KR region. Would’ve rather seen Gen.G play against Furia since they actually know how to adapt. ggwp Furia

posted about a year ago

I can see why CR failed, Munchkin can’t IGL. Ban can’t hit a shot for his life too

posted about a year ago

Even GE bodies this team, it’s tough to watch

posted about a year ago

if T1 was FNC it would’ve been 7 rounds given lmfao

posted about a year ago

T1 still probably going to lose and now they’ll probably get some hate too (even if they weren’t the ones to complain about it)

posted about a year ago

TMV calling it a 14 round game now lmfao

cause he doesn’t have JonahP to flash for him anymore

what was even the exploit

posted about a year ago

T1 lose = discredit GENG?

posted about a year ago

T1, TL, and SEN gotta be the 3 biggest fraud “super teams”

posted about a year ago

We got to swap T1 and GENG spots on the bracket. Watching GENG vs FUR would be worth letting T1 get mauled by LOUD

posted about a year ago

true, T1 are looking like the definition of mid right now

posted about a year ago

GENG currently but T1 on paper. GENG have already proven themselves, T1 need to do the same

posted about a year ago

I honestly think they're both one match away from being finalists

posted about a year ago

Well if this is just based on pure dominance than:

  1. SEN: 9-0 (100%)
  2. Loud: 14-3 (82%)
  3. Gambit: 12-3 (80%)
  4. Acend: 11-3 (79%)
  5. OpTic: 15-6 (71%)
  6. FPX: 17-10 (63%)
