Casters talk about them like that cause you are watching the Pacific broadcast where they hype up Pacific teams. They are the best team in the region, so why wouldn’t the casters hype them up? It’s just like FNC or LOUD getting hyped up in their respective regions.

As for why they get hyped up by fans, it’s cause they are consistently top 5 in the world. Sure they don’t have any titles, but getting top 5 for the past few events still makes you a good team regardless. Not to mention the fact that a lot of OG strats that are still used today come from them.

It's not that the team found the correct way to play the agent that no one else did, it's that the agent fit yay's aim and playstyle almost perfectly, since it allowed you to play a mix of passive and aggressive while the headhunter relied on good crosshair placement (which yay is still best in the world at)

I didn't say they weren't in playoff contention, that would be plain delusional, but I'm saying you guys rate them too high too soon:

They got called a potential Champions winner after rolling their group but couldn't even take a map in playoffs.
They got called an S tier team at the start of LOCK//IN but got humiliated by NAVI.
They got called top 2 americas after beating NRG dominantly but have since then lost to FUR and 100T.

Is it a hot take to think LEV are overated? They've lost to both 100T and FUR and are still yet to beat a top 5 Americas team, with their best achievement so far being beating NRG who are currently 1-3.

When they play a decent team, the roll them, but they're still yet to beat a team that are considered top tier. I'll admit they look good when they're feeling it, but I just don't get how people some people can still immediately call them top 2/3 Americas and place them on the same level of NAVI with these lack of results.
