Now if G2 does get the franchising NA and drops their entire roster, picking up Nukkye is a no brainer for Liquid.
An impact Fragger IGL with insane fire power

posted about 2 years ago

I'm pretty sure the scenario has been like this :
Jamppi confirmed in a stream L1NK wanted to bench himself. Not his fault, Liquid has been going without set roles and IGL for way too long now and his talent was only gonna be wasted here.
It wasn't something planned, and thus when the request came it was sudden and they tried finding whoever is available.
As of now dreamas is most likely a temporary change, they most likely will pick up a proper IGL

I never disrespected other regions. Just stating for NA based on the common tagline, NA is shit and doesn't practice.
Other regions have caught up too, but there never was a need to speak about them

If the whole "G2 dropping their roster & picking M3C" is true, Nukkye is an easy pick for liquid. A proper IGL that also frags.
They can also play around the roles.

NA Valorant is by far the most competitive right now. I know teams like Sentinels and Guard have shown rather poor performance, but when it comes to the other major teams rn, EG, FaZe, Ghost, 100T, LG, XSET, C9 etc any given day, any team can beat the other and the region has become competitive.
Offcourse, Optic being the top dogs.
Like the competition. Hopefully Copenhagen will be the best Masters as crowds too are involved

Fr lmao, igl issues and role issues. Once they figure their stuff, they are near unstoppable with the firepower they got

Necessarily not a bad thing for now, given how NA / other major regions of the world have been exposed to Competitive FPS and you have upcomers grinding the game from decades, some starting from their primary school days.
Investment in India again is an issue as there's perhaps not much of a future due to the same thought process by Orgs.
Competitive FPS especially on PC being so widespread is very recent and majority only started playing during COVID. It may take time.

Liquid as an org should help, then again they probably could be involved too. Hoping for a speedy recovery for his dad

Oh yes, Sentinels qualifying for the next year now☠️
Kinda tragic that they mostly won't even be able to play LCQ and that they're out for the rest of the year

posted about 2 years ago

Fr, as a liquid fan I've never expected them to make it big especially now that teams around the world understand the game deeply. No way a team without set roles and IGL gets any international championship or Master.
The day they finally figure their stuff out, they're on their way to become the best.

As a liquid fan, frustrating but true. Especially some of the mid round calls are so dogshit.
Jamppi got punished like 3-4 rounds for walking B long bind and still went for it without checking. You can't lose your smokes on attack. Being a liquid fan is pretty frustrating, same with G2

It honestly confused me as to why they don't put Nivera on chamber and L1NK on a secondary sentinel.
He's proved time and again, especially that one game on haven where he popped off crazy.
Liquid have 2 good Op players and seeing them not use chamber right when he's and he's been meta is extremely frustrating.
Nivera on the chamber, Scream on the main duelist, SoulCas who's been comfortable with Astra, Jamppi as the initiator and L1NK as the second sentinel / Smoker.
The team with the most exploit potential didn't exploit it :/

This. Nivera has proven countless times he's a monster with Chamber. Scream can go duelist, L1NK with a second sentinel, Jamppi with flex / initiator and SoulCas with smokes (He looks very comfortable with Astra NGL)

Start your journey as a pro player, build up some fanbase, gain some exposure, start streaming side by side.
When things don't work out too well, you've got content creation to pay your bills

Tho honestly speaking, even if he decides to retire he's already a master's winner that too, the inaugural and the MVP.
Thays still a good W in my books

Nah this ain't true rn. After the Nerf teams aren't relying just on chamber due to him having just a single trip. If at all cypher's pick rate has increased

Because they don't really have diverse variety to play against they lose their mental sooner.
Like liquid, they're also a momentum based team. Once they start choking ggs

He himself explained it yesterday that CSGO came when the concept of watch parties did not exist. Valorant has been with watch parties and then again with LEGENDARY voice of the goats Machine and Spunj I'd rather watch the main stream than the watch parties.

It's the same with many teams swapping their duelists with sentinels. Sometimes it's better to let the aggression be held. DRX (Vision Strikers) did the same with Rb and BuZz

Valorant casting is legit dead.
There are so many moments in CS that I remember because of the casters. The crowd reaction paired with actually engaging casting is what made CS so enjoyable.
Ddk was the only proper caster left off from CS but we've not seen a LAN with crowds for Valorant, so I'm hoping we get some epic moments

Yesss, onto that Hopium

posted about 2 years ago

Yes he's been very inconsistent at times, he was a straight up monster with Skye then started going downhill once he left Skye.
Liquid in general have Jamppi as their most aggressive player.
Seeing SoulCas who's undoubtedly the most shit on player from liquid get the spotlight feels very refreshing. Man looks very comfortable being a passive player running Astra.
Liquid can actually make a decent run even without a coach rn, but offcourse as a liquid fan I know they won't win anything big atleast without a coach and with their role issues till they get comfortable and overcome it.
GGs SoulCas!

posted about 2 years ago

Good day for us rn, I just hope they don't lose Jamppi now that Sliggy is gone and Jamppi hinting CS return some months back.
Also, SoulCas looks very comfortable on Astra
