if they didn't get a spot on reykjavic, they were about to rebuild the squad i think. and they did beat G2 the first time around but the second time they played, they got a grand total of 8 rounds in 2 maps.

i think, both subs and non-subs say the same amount of dumb shit. going sub mode just makes the chat easier to mod.
10% - EMEA vs EMEA Grand Finals
50% - Loud and Guard are the first teams to go out of playoffs
90% - G2 chokes in Grand Finals after a undefeated run (0-3)
wow, hmm. i might be wrong here. thank you for linking me this.
but the guard didn't beat Optic twice either?
fluke is not a good enough excuse to lose. and you can use that excuse in grand finals too. what if the Guard win over Optic was a fluke (i'm not saying it was)? and to reach upper finals you need to beat 2 of the best teams and to win upper finals you have to beat the best team from the opposite side of the bracket. all 3 games in a row can't just be a fluke.
those were seeding games, but imagine if it was masters. Optic already beat Guard once but they still need to beat them again to win? Guard fucked up and lost a game but, Optic didn't. but at the end they have equal chance at winning the tournament. that's why it's unfair to the undefeated team as they can't flop in the last day where the team who already lost once still gets another shot at glory. that imo, is undeserved when they stakes are higher and not just seeding games.
the upper final is kind of redundant in this format. it means, a team can fuck up early in the competition and still win the masters. in the grand finals there would be 1 team that went undeafeated and 1 team that already lost a game. so, it's unfair to the undefeated team as it disregards their form up until that moment. but, gives a second shot to the other team based on nothing. in NA, it was just seeding so not a big deal, but in masters the stakes are higher.
look at NA playoffs, Optic beats Guard but Guard still gets a second chance at securing 1st seed but, in masters the stakes are higher. it should be one shot at glory and 1 bad day, you're out.
really don't like the idea of double elimination playoffs bracket. should've been single elimination like berlin masters and champions.
edit: on second thought, double elimination might just be better.
skye is the best healer in the game, she is still viable. it's just that her info gathering util and flashes aren't the best.
bren situation was unexpected and they tried to get them visa till the last week and after that all teams needed to quarantine. if they even tried to get another team visas for berlin, they would still be late for the quarantine period and that would delay the whole tournament.
because, the problem was unexpected. they were 1 week away from masters berlin and they needed to be in berlin and quarantine for that week. but, this time around they had a warning as the travel restrictions were announced weeks ago and they still have 1 week to manage all the visas for TL members.
GG. really wanted to see a new face from kr but, sadge.
2 groups of 6, maybe? like NA playoffs.
liquid was not gonna win masters. and G2 was great on LAN last time. they might be top 3 in reykjavic.
yes, he probably could've said something like, from his past experience with jasonR he has no reason to believe that jason is sexist or misogynist, but in the light of new evidence he has reason to believe that jason has changed his views and their views don't align anymore.
but, that wouldn't make him an L friend because, when the person who calls you an 'L friend' is trying to gaslight or manipulate you, they're not a friend of yours at the first place. so, i think tarik's way of handling was not perfect but, he was genuinely being gaslit and manipulated by his own "friend".
i don't think so.
hoody had some pop-off moments where he saved the round for G2 but nukkye just kept going from the start till the end of the whole game while IGLing. so, it's nukkye for me.
i think, fnatic coach said that they were burnt out.
still FPX, both of these teams are in lower bracket. whoever wins this match is not the best EMEA team rn.
other than icebox their choice was: ascent, split and haven. they got 0-13'd by FPX on split and they lost their last 2 haven match. so, i guess they were more confident with their icebox prep than ascent. and also G2's icebox comp with no duelist is a bit dodgy. that's probably why they picked icebox.

nah, it's time for SEA to shine.
dinko? yeah, he's good for a young caster. i really liked listening to him.
the game ended 1 second after scream died from nukkye with wallbang. he was checking other side of yellow and avova was sticking the defuse inside a smoke. even if he wanted to swing there just wasn't enough time.
the game was lost when scream missed his right click.
scream had knives and he right clicked, i don't know why nivera would need to peek there? he was watching the other side of the yellow as they could've wrapped around. his play wasn't that bad. it's just that scream panic right-clicked and when he didn't hit avova he thought they weren't sticking it.
yeah, this loss makes the bad news much more bearable.
GG. let's not make any excuses. this scedule was fucked but m3c lost, because G2 was the better team today.
worst form m3c is still leagues better than best form liquid.
GG. fair play to G2. unfortunately the boys tried their hardest but couldn't bring their best. we move...
