If the meta is same at Champions, then its more fair to say the best fit teams in the current meta should be there. But in general, PLAYOFFS shows who the better teams are, not group stages.

At Champions you want the best team for the best competition. If MIBR for example, did well earlier in the year and suck ass now, whats the point of them sucking ass at Champions? Waste of team slot. VCT Champions should be the highest level of competition worldwide of the BEST Valorant teams.
