i mean u could but like ascent is very mid heavy. with Astra u cant smoke mid then tree and then heaven on an A mid split. U can with double smokes tho. Kayo might be interchangable but I think Kayo is more meta then KJ.
i think omen needs more buffs to be viable. Omen can be interchanged with Astra or brim tho but really depends on a pro teams plays and playstyle. I had him on split but opted for astra cuz i still think shes better.
I haven, fracture and breeze are the only attacker sided maps and all of them are viper or astra maps. Astra is still viable on haven and brim already gets picked on fracture sometimes.
I think all smokes are balanced now but double smokes meta will come. Astra is best smokes imo tho. Brim kinda overrated by himslef

Viable in pro play with a second smokes. But otherwise for regular comp play you can play any of the smokes and have the same effect
act 2 is the act that theyre gonna be doing a lot of work on agents and maps. No new maps or agents for this act which gives time for teams to adapt to the current changes
Im talking pro play ofc. In comp no one is coordinated enough to not just double smoke one spot. Competitive Meta wont change unless they nerf Jett and sova to the ground.

Astra has really good delaying util. Cypher's util will get broken and is mainly used for info more then to get kills.

this is my take on the new changes. Brim i think has slightly better util for a team then Omen and with Astra's limited stars means that more smokes may be required.
Astra is still the best controller but after using her util to execute. She's useless. Having a brimstone for the smokes on a execute and astra for her suck and stun would make a retake impossible with the delaying utility that would be on hand. Idk i like the idea of Brim-Astra meta.
its my take. probably a lot of flaws but I think this might be good to use.
