Ig the team based sports culture overall for competition isn't that great there then. Kinda hard to understand why they are that ass in team based sports when they are like the best one overall in individual based sports otherwise.

It's a problem for asian countries in general tbh. Japan is like the only one that's decent in many team based sports like football, volleyball, baseball, rugby etc but even then they are like average level compared to western countries despite being best from asia in some of them.
