As good as Zander is, I don't see him replacing Bang.

Team Liquid qualified just after ANNOUNCING Dimasick, doesn't mean they didn't practiced with him before the announcement. The rumors of Dimasick joining Liquid were running around for weeks so they probably were practicing together right after Dreamas left, same as they did with Nivera who practiced for months with the team before he was officially announced.

If nAts joins FNC either he learns the Initiator role from scratch, or Boaster moves to Initiator so nAts can stay on smokes, in which case, Boaster would need to learn more initiator agents other than Kayo. Either way, 2 weeks isn't enough for a team to make such a move. It just isn't smart.

As someone above said, roles don't translate. They would need time to make adjustments role-wise and there simply isn't enough time before Champions to make it work.

After Champions, sure, go for it and make it work. But right now it wouldn't work for any of the Champions-locked teams.

True, my bad

It would've been G2, not Guild

Last year EMEA had 4 spots

posted about 2 years ago

Not really. Even with nerfs Chamber is still good as long as the player has impact. And even without Chamber, a good OPer will always bring value to a team regardless of the agent

EMEA has always been online even for Challengers and only Turkey seems to have some ping issues but not game-breaking. Don't know about EA though

Ping difference between Brazil, LAN & LAS. Online would've been a connectivity nightmare

Drop Shaz, Shroud & Rawkus, bring back Sick, a good smoker/IGL (someone like Zander) and a better coach (Sliggy maybe?)

Liquid, 100T, Team Secret, Damwon, KRU & Fusion

I kinda want a controller with a healing ability since its the only role with no form of healing (Sentinels have Sage, Initiators have Skye and duelists have Reyna & Phoenix with self healing).

They didn't struggle because they're bad, they struggled because Leviatan is good. Only those who underrated Lev are surprised.

posted about 2 years ago

KRU hasn't been the same since Champions though. As much as I love them, they are currently out of shape.

posted about 2 years ago

I said it when Kru was eliminated and I'll say it again: Current Leviatán is better than current KRU. If KRU makes it to Champions in their Champions 2021 shape then LATAM will have 2 solid representatives.

They really did better than anyone expected.

They really did better than anyone expected, ggs. Hope they get even better for Champions.

Fucks up with his decision so decides to redeem himself with some crazy oping

They definitely played much better than most expected.

Soy latino, porque piensas que no sigo mi region?

For me it was:

  1. KRU vs Loud
  2. Northeption vs Xerxia
  3. KRU vs Guild

They're better than current Kru though

posted about 2 years ago

They beat Loud, and we still have Leviatan. It's all good.

posted about 2 years ago

No, if Lev bombs out at playoffs KRU gets the spot at Champions. Leviatan needs to win 1 game to get the spot

posted about 2 years ago

This is why nobody takes you seriously

posted about 2 years ago

If Lev bombs out then KRU gets the spot at Champions I believe....

KRU 5 - 0 Brazil (including Loud)

Japanese teams & community are too NICE to hate

Exactly. Nothing against the team but Brazil fans makes it hard to support them

Lost to KRU and eliminated by Optic with 2 maps won total.

One of the best matches so far

posted about 2 years ago

Not really. I'm a spanish speaker and even in spanish Central America is NA. Don't know where you're looking it up but yeah, thats that.

posted about 2 years ago

Correct. Everything in Central America, Panama included, is part of the North American continent. But yeah, its much easier to call it LATAM to avoid such confusions.

posted about 2 years ago

Wrong. If you count America as one continent then thats it. If you divide America as two continents then it would be North America, including Central America as a subregion, and South America. There is no system where Central America is its own continent, nor a part of South America. Whoever told you that, was mistaken.

You can research it yourself, its free.

posted about 2 years ago

Geographically speaking, all of Central America is, in fact, a region of North America and not its own continent. And even if you don't count geography, Guatemala would still be Central America, not South America. SA goes from Colombia down to the south border of Chile/Argentina.

Remember, "americans" ain't always right.

posted about 2 years ago

Wrong

posted about 2 years ago

Blowouts are boring. Close, unpredictable matches are much more fun and makes for an interesting tournament not knowing who will actually be champ.
