i tried that already a while ago for teams rankings(around kickoff/madrid times i tried multiple different formats), people hated it too.
you can't make everyone happy, and tbh i doubt most people would go through 45 different people
yeah single elim is 100% the main reason lock\in was a bad format not
no group stage/swiss stage
only took 5 matches to qualify for and win an event total, least of any event ever
(for reference you needed to play minimum 9 and maximum 13 to win madrid)
100T and Talon got top 8 at that event, and they didn't even make regional playoffs in the split
edit: "to win" -> "to qualify for and win"
100T was 100% aim diffing, it got to the point they were disrespecting FUT so hard they started playing undisciplined.
100T have both set plays and midrounding, if the set plays work they don't need to midround
map 1 and 2 are the same, it entirely depends on if map 3 is split or icebox.

yeah in general its really dumb, but GenG has actually beaten a team besides T1 on bind
as i see it, GenG will pick the one of it and icebox they are more comfortable on, which is bind (they lose both icebox and bind vs 100T)
