Let me give an even better example

On a 22 round game

Player A goes 11/5 has a kill differential of +6

Player B goes 40/39 has kill differential of +1

Who played better? According to your philosophy, player A played better because he has a 6 kd, even though he only got 11 kills in 22 rounds, while player B got 40 kills in 22 rounds.

See how dumb it is to compare players by k/d? Player A might be a super passive awper who keeps saving, which boosts his kd. While player B is a duelist who always entry frags and therefore dies a lot.

With that in mind, this case would be different with you measured the players ADR, let’s say player A had a higher ADR than B, then there is an argument.
Stop using k/d as a meaningful stat.

K/D is not a good metric to determine the players impact.

It’s like saying a player that goes 2/0/0 has more impact than a player that is 0/2/10

I much rather compare stats like ADR and rating than k/d, specially considering your argument is that he is playing a duelist

Agreed... I have no idea how ACS isn’t calculated, but an advantage of using other formulas such as HLTV 2.0 is that it takes into account KAST, which is more within different roles.

Yes , but who are you getting exactly? If you analyzing the two games they lost, it was never really a problem of starts per say, they just chocked a huge leads (more notoriously a 9-3 half against XSET), and they heavily relied on Wardell to carry them. For this reason I would much prefer a -hazed change, they get a dedicated sentinel player and firepower .

Considering cutler is the igl, I would do -hazed instead

Yes, I agree that brax isn’t the most eye popping offer, henceforth my idea of adding him as a sixth player at least...
You also have to consider that with so many teams in the NA market rn, they aren’t a lot of choices out there, and brax would be pretty safe considering he has experience playing professionally

I saw this idea on chat the other day and the more I think about it the more I like it...
TSM never really had a dedicated sentinel player, and I think brax can really had firepower to this squad. They don’t need to make the change immediately, maybe add him as sixth player and see how it goes from there...

TSM needs some roster changes. At the end of last year, this team was beginning to look shakey after losing to Gen G.
Wardell can only do so much, it’s the 3rd map and he is the only one positive in his team... others are way too inconsistent...
