There will be domestic leagues & an in-game tournament mode that is a "path to pro" according to Riot. We'll have to wait and see there plan.

12 Teams make more sense tbh... 3 JP, 3 KR, 4 SEA, 1 SA & 1 OCE

Take away a KR spot and add it to SEA if that helps. But, who knows.

Or succeed like Riot's other franchised game... League of Legends. I'm always confused why we compare Riot to Activision/Blizz.? Cause they're both fps's... Even though they are completely different type of shooters??? Abilities = Same game?

Idk. Let's look at Riot's track record and not a whole different company who has yet to succeed in developing an esport. Overwatch had a 25 million buy-in, & city-based (Idea where teams fly out to different cities) btw

Cool story…

Yeah, nerf his busted ass.

It’s literally in a much better spot today then last year. We’ll have to see what Riot has plans for the regional leagues.

Franchising has the potential to save Korea. Right now though, I’m curious how the t2 scene will be supported

Need a replay system… Every modern day sport has some sort of replay/film system. Esports should be no different just based on competition.

Astralis is fun to see them try to make it.

Every ability have been nerfed.

posted about 2 years ago

No it’s not lol. There isn’t one esport you can name that can stabilize every org/business that enters the game.

Valorant isn’t franchised yet.

No one gives a shit about NA CS in general lol. We’re a meme… Team Liquid all we got.

He changed his mind. No problems found.

Who cares what & who he finds entertaining, informative, etc. There’s people who follow shit they don’t even like lol. Look at hltv… Every Valorant event they know about it.

Nothing wrong with people following edgy celebs like Andrew Tate imo.

Waaay less CSGO post here lol

PRX are not one of the most popular teams just cause they’re Asian. This whole team came from CSGO -Jingg and they weren’t that popular. After this tournament I’m sure there popularity has increased though.

Fanbases matter... Look at Astralis v AVANGAR for the 2019 Berlin Major... 800k. Why?? AVANGAR had 0 support, and Astralis was looked at as boring at the time. They had a whole era of constantly winning. Same thing will happen in Valorant... FPX doesnt really have a strong fanbase. Replace FPX w/ G2 and viola instant million lol. Same goes with Paper Rex...

Just kind of how viewership works. If NaVi or FaZe doesn't make it to a GF you'll notice a steep decline in viewers because those 2 team house some popular players and they're popular orgs.

That's just the first page... Let's keep making Valorant a success and making them cry lol. I honestly don't get it... CSGO is a great esport but, so is LoL, DOTA2, whatever... The fact some competition creates this kind of behavior is wild to me.

786k for FPX v Paper Rex is actually decent. Fan bases matter.
