When KOI entered franchising they were with Rogue, the fusion went sideways and thats why they lost the first year basically. For the second one they carried on the stupid contracts from before and tried to do something with what they had.
This is their true year, for those who say their management is dogshit, think before you speak, KOI IS stable in every other game. The valorant project was a screw up but thats It.

Hear me out, next season they'll be 12 teams meaning there will be 11 week fixtures, there will be 6 matches pero fixture and you. You can make it work by having 3 days and playing 2 matches on them or maybe 3 days of 2 matches (although I'll get burnt). If you do 1 fixture a week it will take about 2,5 months to complete.
This will allow to not have to make groups and play a lot more valorant overall.
The season could look like:
Kick-off (1 month)
Masters 1 ( 1 week of play + 4 weeks of rest ~= 1 month)
Split 1 ( 2,5 months)
Playoffs ( 2 weeks ~= 0,5 months)
Masters 2 ( 2 weeks of play + 4 weeks of rest ~= 1,5 months)
Split 2 (2,5 months)
Playoffs (2 weeks ~= 0,5 months)
Champs (1 month of play + 2 weeks of rest ~= 1,5 months)
Total: 11 months, leaving 1 month for off-season, prolly should adjust from the times of rest between masters
Personally I like all teams to start at the same level on tournaments so I would try to award no byes to the teams.
My idea is making the classification system a lot more enjoyable
We could have a single elim tournament between the 8 teams whoever wins it classifies and gets #1 seed, then those who were knocked out on R1 do a single elim and only all but the winner get knocked out of the tournament.
Afterwards the "rescued" team and the others fight on a double elim tournament, whoever wins WF classified as #2 seed and whoever win LF as #3 seed. For masters 1 there would be a grand finals where the winner would qual as #2 seed and for masters 2 as stated beforehand there would be no grands. For champs #4 would be chosen by points as it is now.
Not gonna be done but this would have me on the edge of my seat for all games.

Look at the regular season, the stats aren't really there, I don't think he masters the sentinel role and he doesn't com much or bring vibes so I think there should be better options.
