Single elim produces the single handed BEST valorant team to win since it forces teams to limit mistakes.
This would make sense had it been done when teams were already well established and not the first event of the year with completely new rosters with little to no cohesion or chemistry

I dont think single elim is more competitive especially as it was the first time a lot of the teams were playing with a completely new roster. Double elim is more competitive because it gives teams a second chance after perhaps having an "off game" and losing. Also that single elim format will never be seen again because it was a one time thing
