My point is that Reyna is better than Phoenix in pro play.
Nukkye, one of the best players in the world, played Reyna. Niesow played Reyna. Scream played Reyna. Kiles played Reyna. Kadavraa played Reyna. Tenz played Reyna. Afaik some NA pros main Reyna, one of them is from LG I don't remember.
Bruh, Reyna eye gives you important map control. Enemies usually hide when she flashes and they don't repeek for 2 seconds until eye ends. If they try to shoot her flash they most likely get killed instantly.
Phoenix flash doesn't give you shit. Even if you don't dodge and get blinded, you can repeek after 1 second when it ends, because the flash is so quick.
I'm assuming that you don't play "do or die" positions where if you get flashed you get killed. That's so stupid.

It's not quarterfinals, these matches are just for seeding. All these top-8 are already qualified.
Not saying that Phoenix is a bad agent but it looks like he has the worst flash in the game right now.
Also his wall is quite useless, doesn't deal much damage neither heals a lot.

This bracket part is very weak. Ballista and G2 were supposed to be in the finals of it, but now Ballista out and G2 struggling against random mix KEKW.
People underrate nukkye so much... Swap nukkye with Zyppan and you get top-5 players in the world. Their order is still arguable though.

We have 3 huge teams in EU region, which could perform at the top-tier level - Heretics, FPX and Acend. But only 2 Masters Iceland slots :(

The reason why Acend lose is because they use weaker agents. Skye, Viper, Brimstone. They don't adapt to meta.
NA Masters format is stupid. Now Faze will probably smash the winner of Gen.G-Envy, and it will go over again SEN-Faze. No real advantage given to SEN for winning upper bracket final.
There should be double elimination groups and then single elimination playoffs, just like in Europe, Turkey, CIS or Korea. IMO it's the best format, you can lose once in groups, but after that everything is serious, you lose = you out.
Edit: for selecting teams which go to Iceland Masters, NA format is more suitable. Because it really determines 1-2 best teams and it's very important to do so. Meanwhile in EU format some flukes can happen.

I remember when Acend (then RYE) played against Rix.GG in open qualifiers for Challengers 3, they lost 1st map, they were losing 9-12 on 2nd map. Rix.GG could have won only 1 round, hence winning the series, and the storyline would be completely different.
But then something changed, Acend comebacked 2nd map, destroyed Rix.GG on 3rd map... And now they are here, in semifinals. Amazing.
They don't care. If they cared they would make Masters with 16 teams, and Champions with 20.
Now they just want to collect some garbage from LATAM/SEA/JP, meanwhile promising EMEA teams, who didn't make it into top-2, will stay at home.
I don't think that they will get a separate slot. They will keep participating in EMEA events, and EVERY TIME they will get outplayed by top-tier EU teams like FPX or Heretics. Deal with it. No Turkey on International tourneys, at least this year.

My point is that Oceanian teams won't qualify to Masters/Champions because of huge competition in NA. I'm not saying that Aussies are bad, I'm saying that NA are even better.
Dude, there is NO WAY that Aussie teams will beat monsters Faze/SEN/100T/Envy and qualify for Masters/Champions.
Riot made a mistake by putting them into NA events, they should have qualified through SEA events. It would be much more easier for Oceania to represent themselves at Masters/Champions, but right now they are really fucked.
As if they have any chances to qualify from there...
Sad that FPX will most likely win Dfuse, so even if Acend win next match against Heretics/Nip loser, they will have to face FPX in semis, the strongest team in the EU and maybe even in the world right now.
