You don't need to say that SEA is trash to argue that your region needs to receive more slots, lol

In Brazil Gamelanders Purple and B4 Angels are already reaching the bo3 stages of the VCT Open Qualifiers, maybe soon Gamelanders Purple will be able to play at least one stage of the Challengers Playoffs, in around 1 year +/-

Furthermore, in Brazil the women's teams scrim massively against the men's teams in the region, so they are improving fast

He has an advantage in mechanics and knowledge about the game, but in the long run he obviously wouldn't compete with Zywoo and Simple, the aim, movement, and intelligence of the best CSGO players are far superior to TenZ imo, anyone who thinks Simple, Zywoo, and Device wouldn't shit on TenZ's head is dishonest

People from Mexico play with low ping on servers in Dallas, Denver, and Atlanta

posted about 3 years ago

That would be an interesting decision ngl, but Riot would have to install new servers in South America to compensate ping between the countries

posted about 3 years ago

Exactly, but there is a problem in LAN that is very far from Brazil and SA, maybe it would be too expensive for organizations from Mexico to migrate to SA, so it would be more viable for them to play for NA for ping reasons

posted about 3 years ago

I want South America server (LAS + BR) and remove the roster lock between them like OCE + NA

posted about 3 years ago

From Chile, LAS players play with Ping at around 50ms on the Sao Paulo server, if there were servers in Buenos Aires, Porto Alegre, or even Campo Grande I believe Brazilians and Latinos would play both with 25ms thinking that most organizations do Brazil are concentrated in the southeast of the country

posted about 3 years ago

I believe it would be good for everyone in general if Riot removed the roster lock between Latin America South and Brazil/Latin America North and NA just like Riot did with Oceania, which competes for the VCT with the NA teams, Soniqs arrived in the region being well below the tier 1 teams and have evolved a lot since then, if KRU, Australs, 9z, and Meta Gaming could play in VCT:BR I believe it would be better for the competitive scene, Riot could install some servers in Buenos Aires , Porto Alegre, Montevideo that the ping would be good for everyone, so there could be transmissions in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, I think a unified SA server would be nice.

What do you guys think about this?

In 2017 he still played very well for G2

posted about 3 years ago

Sacy said that in scrims they were busted by Acend and Gambit, but against Liquid, G2, Guild, etc they won a lot, he explained why they performed poorly in the tournament

posted about 3 years ago

Vikings didn't dominate everyone in scrims, where did you see that?

posted about 3 years ago

Vikings stomped Liquid in scrims, but in live they played with Yoru lmao, I don't have details about scrims against Sentinels

posted about 3 years ago

They've been in Mexico since the Latam final, it's been 2-3 weeks

At the moment yes

God bless your words OP, I think is hard that Envy doesn't qualify in at least one of the two slots, but I don't think it's impossible, Envy, KRU, and VK have close levels imo, Zeta may surprise if the other teams keep their guard down too, it will be a fun group

Zika reversa?

posted about 3 years ago

Keznit, I believe Valorant has changed a lot since Iceland, the competitive level has increased in general and this time it will be more difficult in Berlin for everyone

I will leave some insider scrimbux that I got about KRU in NA, don't ask me the source:

  • KRU won 100T for 19-5 in scrim, and Asuna confirmed in a recent 100T video for Youtube that they are a very strong team.

  • KRU beat every Tier 2 team in NA and stomped almost all of them.

  • Scrims against Tier 1 NA teams were almost always 50/50, recently Shahzam said in the stream that he trained with KRU and that they are an excellent team, but I don't have any details about that yet.

  • One of KRU players said in Teddy's stream that NA teams stand out for their FPS tactical structure and that they hardly make dumb decisions in the middle of the round, and that they react to opponents' actions very quickly, but that individually he believes that in Brazil/South America there are more talented players. He also said that they trained a lot against Havan and VK and said he believes the level is the same with tier 1 NA teams and that 100T and Envy shouldn't have an easy life in the group stage against these teams as many people think

Dont agree

posted about 3 years ago

I agree that they will be favorites in the matches, but I don't think they are at a level much above the others nor that they will have easy matches.

posted about 3 years ago

I agree 100%, I don't understand how people are so confident that Envy will easily get past KRU, VK, and ZETA, lol

KRU won 100T for 19-5 in scrims (Personal sources)

Also, Asuna confirmed that KRU is an excellent team https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45AL9E3fb8s

Exactly

Kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk, keep underestimating

posted about 3 years ago

Envy will underestimate VK and KRU and will receive a reality check imo

posted about 3 years ago

Group A: 1st Vision Strikers, 2nd Acend

Group B: 1st Gambit, 2nd Havan Liberty

Group C: 1st KRU, 2nd Vivo Keyd

Group D: 1st Sentinels, 2nd F4Q

Some notes:

SMB Turks will not play confidently on LAN and will not know how to adapt to the non-peek advantage, they will perform below in Berlin for that reason

100T won't know how to respond to Gambit and Havan Liberty's meta and will lose to both

Envy will underestimate VK and KRU and will have very difficult games, will also underperform on LAN and will be eliminated

G2 won't know how to lead with the chaotic style of F4Q and Bunny will farm them all with Judge + Raze

posted about 3 years ago

That's what I always say, individually there are incredibly talented players in Brazil/Latam, our weak point is the team structure and tactical knowledge in FPS, I have a lot more fun watching our players' screens than most of those who they play in NA tbh, I think the movement and the aim are prettier
