Bro their Tokyo performance was their peak they beat heavy hitters like LOUD and NAVI. Their Champs performance was mid tbh, they only beat Giants( objectively bad team) and BLG and lost to PRX, EG and LOUD. If they can't beat a decent team in Madrid I'm afraid their Tokyo run would be on fluke list watch.

Also them losing to TL twice doesn't help them.

True, I really liked PRX for their weird comps and W gaming. And forsakens Yoru was always fun to watch but after seeing Marteen play Yoru my views changed completely.

1. KC Marteen: Was thoroughly impressed by his game play overall. His Yoru on split showed us the true potential of this agent. The multiple combos with astra wall, omen blind and double entry with raze was amazing to watch.

2. Sen TenZ: My king. His superior mechanical skills + him moving away from entry duelist + yoru's map presence enables TenZ to make some insane individual plays like the one where he takes the entire control of bath in bind on his own.

3. PRX forsaken:Ideally his experience of playing Yoru at the highest level for a long time should make him the best but other than his insane aim i don't see any impressive set combos or strats around him. After seeing Marteen play, I realized the true potential of Yoru.

4. T1 Izu: His Yoru on breeze is perfection I feel.

5. M8 TakaS: The set strat of this team on sunset around Yoru is insane like the one round where omen ults to clear a space and Yoru tps in. His superior aim also plays a huge part.

HM: KOI kamo(on icebox but keiko had a life game unluckily), NAVI Ardiss( Would be in top 5 if he didn't get hard diffed by Minoboo on breeze), C9 Oxy

P.S I watched a few pacific matches, no Americas matches and a lot of EMEA matches since the time of broadcast was ideal for me to watch. So if I missed some players do let me know.

I believe this was already figured out in Champs 23. That's why they couldn't beat decent teams like loud, prx and eg

I fucking hate watching FNC, they play the same comp which was made in 2022/2021. No innovation in comp, just default for 1 minute and decide what to do. Other EMEA teams are getting innovative which at least makes it interesting to watch but FNC are by far the most boring team to watch in tier 1

EDG, GIA and KRU in Champions 2023 were straight bad. Nukkye fell off and EDG depended too much on individual hero clutches to win. KRU, I didn't watch them play. EDG struggled a lot against good teams like PRX and LOUD. I think group D was more stacked than this one

Consider your unlucky on the pistol rounds, the opponent gets 4 rounds easily and then they can win 2-4 rounds minimum just by being lucky like getting kills through smokes or mistake by your team which is fine because humans make mistake. One round you win by luck and then you have a good chance to win the next since it has a high chance of being eco so you can win a minimum of 6 rounds just by pistols and a little luck.

You've to watch the match closely to see if the opposite team is getting outclassed either by igl ability or firepower. If both then it is a domination.
