Why Riot can't do things right?

If Ascension is from 22 June to 16 July and Last chance has 7 teams each region, why don't put the Ascension champions to close with 8 and start 1/2 weeks later?

Something like this:

Ascension - 22 June ~16 July
Last Chance 7 teams + Ascension champions - 27 July ~ 13 Aug
Champions - 27 Aug ~ 17 Sept
