be ready to add 6K for LATAM north >:) (i am on copium, FUS are strong)
a lot of people (as seen in this thread) disliked him pre-val because of CSGO, but i wasn't into CSGO when that scandal happened. for those that got to know him through valorant, i know he's at least partially blamed for SEN's stagnation post-masters 1. i don't dislike him personally, i think the hate he gets is undeserved
this is the most realistic take i've seen
M80 was simply better unfortunately.
the stars are aligning for my preds though, i predicted guard 3-1 mxm in lower final
there is still a better way to approach this, and it's to ignore him. if you fight toxic with toxic, you only get more toxic

AstroGalaxy...
hopefully someone takes n4rrate, he seemed strong those last few matches. a big reason they didn't get instantly 2-0'd by OR based on what i watched
i hope so. at least it's not as bad as overwatch locking it behind 45 battle pass tiers
you'd be surprised at the amount of people i've seen in unranked with what I could only assume is their main acct playing the new agent within the hour of them coming out. at least i made alts to try out chamber and neon with the free unlock when they came out but yeah :/
yeah but it took a while to unlock them (unless you were weird and paid for it), but now seemingly everyone has to wait? admittedly i still don't understand it
there are alcoholic drinks that are actually nice to drink! i personally prefer smirnoff ice over any kind of beer for this reason -- it just tastes a bit similar to a soda. the problem is that without the bad taste of alcohol stopping you from drinking more you could become prone to getting addicted (of course, that doesn't stop a lot of people, but it sure stops me)
idk why but i just really like budweiser for some reason. corona and modelo are also good
i'm sensing this one will be an upset
2-1 FaZe, last game goes to OT
either way whoever wins has to face Guard, so gl
the writing was on the wall since they lost to MAD, though i do respect your loyalty to the end
unfortunately i don't think the squad is sticking around for another season, g2 will probably full rebuild
nah, it's a riot thing. na has bad observers and EU/APAC have long ass tech pauses every other match
idk, some NA challengers team would probably take him, whether he'll succeed though is a different question
"saving strats"
"ez lower bracket run"
lmao
rito really needs to consider having more observers in their matches. they don't even have to be playing the game, just have a some computers on obs on each players's pov. or, you know, make a better spectate and replay mode
BLAME CANADA
BLAME CANADA
WITH ALL THEIR BEADY LITTLE EYES
AND FLAPPING HEADS SO FULL OF LIES
my guess? they became predictable, and then once they were 0-3 ish in split 2 they also started tilting out
mental health is an incredibly nuanced, tragic issue and some places are not good for discussing that
this is correct. while you're here, don't open any forum threads please
sure is making his case. i hope the mods wake up soon
please think more clearly. success doesn't mean shit to someone with depression/tendencies. this is just beyond tone deaf and mean to the VIT guys
true, but there are ways to sugarcoat it. "creative differences" and such. either way, the lack of transparency on both sides (plus potential misinformation from rumors) is what's causing this argument to begin with
honestly, i just find the fact that a (now former) salaried pro player is beefing with a random on an online forum a little silly. i get that it might be warranted if it was just straight misinformation (don't know or frankly care enough), but surely there was a better way to approach it than starting an argument on VLR
edit: zeek is teamless for now so he technically isn't salaried anymore. point still stands though
i agree with you on that, and jish's #13 made me clear that i was misunderstanding a bit. now i just think it's a bit silly that the vandal got an ammo nerf while the odin didn't if fewer people spam with the vandal and you can also see the tracers. i get that it's to keep the vandal and phantom equal, but surely there must be something to justify the phantom simply having less ammo than the vandal, but that opens up an entire discussion about clip sizes and stuff i'm not really ready for yet
honestly you're right -- i'm still concerned about odin spam on ascent though. B main is already hard enough to push as is with one odin
you can't move with it, but you sure can sit behind a smoke and spray it, which was the thing the phantom is supposedly being nerfed for. not to mention how easy it is to spam certain walls in haven/ascent/etc
this is just another case of people on both sides not being transparent and it causing an argument... like TH posts on their twitter that zeek is dropped due to a "personality conflicts" but then zeek says that it's because of medical reasons?
tbh, it's probably both. zeek did reply in the thread after this post was made that the surgery was after he was benched and that the surgery, not the internal conflict, is what allowed TH to use an emergency transfer. that, at least, makes sense to me. why TH doesn't mention zeek's surgery is beyond me, and why zeek doesn't come clean about the internal troubles at TH is also beyond me
i've said this in an earlier thread -- a nerf is a nerf, but no matter what people will always complain
the vandal/phantom spam nerf will help but rn it seems to just open a door to odin meta since that gun remained untouched. ascent in particular may become a lot worse since paper walls and more people will likely buy odins
run and gun/rope movement nerf are good but there will always be rng involved. no matter how many times they nerf it you'll still eventually get one tapped when the enemy is full sprinting and not even aiming for you -- that's just part of the game. surely these changes will decrease the amount of times this happens overall but it won't feel like that for everyone
a nerf is a nerf, but run and gun RNG will always exist and people will always complain
Meteora is a gift from the heavens
is the first team rebuild domino falling since league play ended? i can't wait for transfer season
i hope it's as bad as the ares meta because then rito will nerf the odin to the ground and indirectly make ascent more fun
Nothing But Thieves -- Nothing But Thieves
Muse -- The Second Law
BABYMETAL -- BABYMETAL
Kid Kapichi -- Here's What You Could Have Won
Foo Fighters -- The Color and The Shape
map changes: good
run and gun nerf: good
frenzy nerf: good
shorty nerf: good
phantom/vandal ammo changes: dubious (depends on which angle you're looking at... for me, it just seems like it opens the door to an odin meta and the odin wasn't touched. but, even as a frequent smoke-spammer, i understand why this nerf would be needed)
i learned from EG this year that you never count out the underdogs. idk if either ASE or EDG will make it out of groups, but i expect them to fight hard and maybe surprise with a win
good part about reducing phantom and vandal ammo:
bad part about reducing phantom and vandal ammo:
wouldn't be surprised if odin becomes even more prevalent in maps with long corridors (pearl B, haven C, etc) because of this
yeah exactly. it felt like they weren't even comming that last series. whatever beef's going on internally is something that probably can't be fixed without cutting at least half the team at minimum
they can, but exactly zero of the current players will probably stick around. if toast wants to keep his team, he'll have to rebuild from scratch
don't even give him the attention bro, man's so obsessed with yay it feels like he's actually a fan in disguise
i've said this before and i'll say it again, their mental was completely shot even before the first pistol round and you can see it
and based on yay's tweet it's clear to me that the entire team's chemistry is just shattered as well. wouldn't be surprised if 4 or even all 6 of the players leave the team assuming toast even wants to keep this venture
yay may not have a team to call home but he sure is living rent free in shownu's head
Quite clear that the entire team had checked out even before the pistol on bind. Idk what the beef between exalt and steel was but it sure destroyed this team's mental before the game started and you can tell with how they played.
I genuinely feel like they were no-comming the whole series so each person could try to stat pad and look good to other VCL teams. it'd explain why they felt so disconnected that whole match, even yay
just embarrassing
